Charming Home In Quiet Grangeville - Sleeps Nine

Grangeville is located at the foot of the Rocky Mountains on the Camas Prairie. Charming, recently updated 1930's era four bedroom two bath home in quiet settled neighborhood. Huge yard (over 1/3 acre) and covered patio great for enjoying warm evenings. The home is close to world class steelhead fishing on the Clearwater and Salmon Rivers. Hunting, hiking, skiing, exploring, mushroom hunting and whitewater rafting are available, or relax in this quiet town. Hell's Canyon is a short drive. The space This is a super clean 1930's era home remodeled in 2024. The house is located a quiet neighborhood within easy walking distance to all the shops downtown and some very good restaurants (Brick House Restaurant is a five minute walk). This home features a large kitchen, dining area, large dining room that seats 12, living room and four bedrooms. The master bedroom is on the main floor. The large basement suite was just remodeled in December of 2025. This is reserved for parties of seven or more guests. The other two bedrooms are upstairs. These stairs are fairly steep and this should be considered when booking this property. There is a new (2024) mini-split system (heat and A/C) that provides air conditioning and heating to the entire home other than the basement. Being below grade the basement stays a constant temperature (there is a powerful wall heater in the basement that heats the basement suite quite well within minutes). The finished basement is available to parties of 7 or more guests. HOWEVER THERE IS A FULL BATH (shower, no bath tub) THAT GUESTS MAY USE in the basement area. The steps to the basement are pretty steep. There are three steps to the front and rear entry door. The main floor bathroom is retro design with shower and separate tub. There are also three floor loungers and a portable bed so it is possible to sleep up to 12 guests. The large fireplace is decorative for now and should not be used. Modern appliances are featured for the kitchen. There is a Keurig and a drip coffee maker combo in the kitchen. Wireless and fast streaming TV (Roku, etc.) are also available. Bring your Fire Stick and Roku account settings. The property is situated on over a 1/3 of an acre of manicured lawns, gardens and trees. There is plenty of parking in the long driveway. Professionally cleaned! Guest access Access is via key code that is provided at check in time. Key code automatically deactivates one hour after check-out time. There is plenty of parking in the long driveway or on the street. The finished basement is off limits, however there is a full bath (shower, no tub) that guests may use in the basement area. The steps to the basement are pretty steep so consider this when booking this home for your stay. There are three steps to the front and rear entry door. Other things to note There is a new (2024) mini-split heating and air conditioning system for the entire home (not including the off limits basement area which stays a constant temperature and does have electric wall heating available. There are a few stairs (3-6) for both the front entrance (West) and the side (North) entrance. There are steep stairs to the two upstairs bedrooms. The finished basement is generally not considered part of the living space. The stairs to the basement have a fairly low ceiling at the base of the stairs and the stairs are fairly steep. Mini-split heating and air conditioning is provided to both upstairs bedrooms.
