Brevard Mountain House-Perfect for families!

Welcome to our mountain retreat! We are just outside of Cedar Mountain, 15 min. south of Brevard and 15 min. from Dupont State Forest known for outstanding hiking, mountain biking, and waterfall hopping. Twenty minutes away from Pisgah National Forest with amazing mountain biking and hiking trails as well as fly fishing. You'll be able to enjoy starry skies and short range mountain views while warming up by the fire plus you can see blue ghost fireflies on the property during late spring. The space Late May to early June Blue Ghost fireflies are visible on the property. No need to book an expensive tour. Our well appointed home has everything you need for a relaxing mountain getaway. Kitchen is stocked with everything you need to cook meals (including salt, pepper, basic spices). We provide linens for 8 people, plus a few extras. The home is stocked with enough paper goods for a long weekend. In addition to the 3 bedrooms, living room and kitchen, there is a finished basement that has a full bathroom, living room and office. The basement living room has a tv, daybed, and fold out single bed ottoman. The office has a small desk, chair and double futon. There is also a conditioned garage that has a ping pong table and foosball. Outside the office is a screened in porch with chairs and a swing. This gives you access to the fenced in backyard and fire pit. The home has WiFi and Roku streaming devices for both TVs. Mountain bikers will enjoy garaged storage for bikes and gear, outdoor wash station, and shoe and glove dryer. Guests can bring their own car charger to access the NEMA 14-50R electrical service (50 amp) to charge their vehicle. Guest access Guests have exclusive use of the entire home except for two closets. Other things to note Please be advised that cellular service can be spotty throughout this area. It varies by provider so we cannot guarantee you will have cell service in the house. The home does have WiFi. You are welcome to bring a maximum of two pets. There is an additional $100 fee.
