Custom built, architect-designed, open concept house and separate country-style cottage, Swallow Point Retreat sits high among trees, overlooking the ocean on three sides and has its own private beach and dock. This property is available for vacation rental as house with cottage. The house features soaring ceilings and walls of glass windows that let in lots of natural light and make the most of its woodland and waterside setting. This unique architecture gives a unique two storey floorplan for living and sleeping. The main family room is open to the second floor and has a seating area with woodburning fireplace, as well as a raised area with doors leading out onto an expansive deck overlooking the water. This room also features two loft sleeping areas suitable for older children, one on each side of the room, accessed by ladders and with railings on the sides. Underneath each loft is a closet and desk area, which can be screened by drapes. Also on the main floor are the kitchen with breakfast bar, dining room with wrap-around deck and full bathroom. There is a pull-down Murphy Bed in the dining room, which can be closed off for privacy. The Master Bedroom suite is upstairs. Occupying all of the second level it is open to sound from the living rooms below but the Queen size bed and separate home office area cannot be seen. Bedroom with Queen size bed; bedroom with bunkbeds and room for a cot (or two single beds). Bathroom with tub/shower combo. The property is in extensive private grounds reached by a long driveway. Steps lead down to its own private sand beach and dock.
