Goldrush suite is a bright, comfortable home with a private hot tub, has easy access to the slopes of Silver Star Mountain, with sweeping views of the valley and Silver Queen Chair. This 1 bedroom suite is close to the Silver Star Village and the activities at Tube Town. If you like skiing, hiking and mountain biking, this home provides access to it all. The Goldrush suite is the bottom unit of the 3 story home. It is a private, quiet place of solitude and restoration. The majestic, sweeping views of the valley, ski runs and Silver Queen Chairlift from the oversize front windows immediately immerse you in peaceful beauty. The open floor design, elevated ceilings and multiple windows give the entire suite a bright and spacious feeling. The stone (gas) fireplace creates a cozy, warm ambiance that invites you to curl up, read a book, watch a movie, or just gaze over the ski runs. The large screen TV, blue ray player, ample supply of free DVDs, cable TV, free high speed internet, games, books and magazines provide plenteous options for entertainment. The secluded, large bedroom features a comfy queen bed with a sumptuous comforter and soft pillows that invites you into a deep slumber. The living room has an extra comfortable queen sofa sleeper. The unit comfortably sleeps four adults. A well stocked, modern kitchen with ample dishes and pans, features a toasty heated floor. A propane BBQ is right out the front door awaiting your steaks or burgers. Soak your sore legs in the four person hot tub overlooking the valley. You can access the slopes on the convenient deck which connects you with Purple Palace next door. Access the ski bridge of the deck and start your day of fun on the slopes. This unit is sparkling clean, up-to-date, meticulously maintained, and well appointed...a perfect spot to spend your mountain holiday. Our guests are greeted with reserved parking space steps away from the front door of the suite. A secure private entrance with a keyless code entry awaits to welcome you into a ski room for all your equipment. Your own, personal hot tub on the deck, overlooking the valley, sits directly outside your front door. We live in California but are often up on the mountain. If we are present when you are, we would love to connect with you, if you should so desire. Goldrush suite is just a short 7 minute walk from the Silver Star Mountain Resort village. Right across the road is Tube Town and Brewers Pond, with lots of activities to enjoy. This is a true ski in/ski out home in the winter and access to the bike/hiking trails during the summer. Silver Star Mountain Resort does have a shuttle service available from Kelowna Airport (YLW). You can order groceries from Lord Aberdeen's in the village. It is handy to have your own transportation so you can explore downtown Vernon and the neighboring towns, as well as, Lake Okanagan and Lake Kalamalka. Goldrush is right across the ski bridge from all the fun at Tube Town, Brewers Pond, the bowling alley and multiple snow shoe and cross country ski trails. There is ongoing snow removal for your convenience. After every snow of 2" or more, the snow removal team plow the laneway, the parking area and shovel the decks. Extra housekeeping is available for longer stays for a minimal cost. Feel free to ask us how we can accommodate you. The hot tub is available from November 1-April 11. After those dates, there is a fee for the hot tub. Please inquire how to have the tub filled for your stay during April through October.
