With vast reception spaces and elegant period charm, it’s ideal for unforgettable gatherings. Guests arrive through a large set of double gates and a 70 metre driveway that leads to the main house. Upon entering you are welcomed by a large hallway, featuring a grand fireplace with a log burner, creating a warm and inviting entrance. (This is especially beautiful in December with a 10 foot Christmas tree!) From here, two well-appointed reception rooms offer working fireplaces, Smart TVs, and Wi-Fi, perfect for relaxing or entertaining. At the heart of the home is a 70 square metre spacious open-plan kitchen, dining, and living area. This versatile space includes comfortable sofas, a Smart TV, and large velux windows, filling the room with natural light. Double doors open directly to a terrace and garden, ideal for outdoor dining and socialising. The modern Shaker-style kitchen is fully equipped for large groups and gatherings. It features a central island with bar seating, a large range cooker with double oven, grill, and induction hob, a large fridge/freezer, two double sinks, dishwashers, coffee machine and built-in microwave and a large Smart TV for added entertainment. A modern dining table seating up to 18 guests makes this the perfect hub of the home! Step outside through the French doors onto the terrace, which features an outdoor firepit, table and chairs seating 18 guests and scenic views. Easily accessible less than 10 minutes from Newcastle & Durham city centre and particularly close to The Angel of the North, Team Valley, Saltwell Park, Beamish Museum and Local National Trust Sights.
