Casa Los Cielos is elegant but rustic, with beautiful Costa Rican woodwork throughout. Rooms all have stunning views including the San Jose valley and surrounding mountains. It is nestled in a cool (78F), peaceful mountainous area, is perfect for families, retreats, or groups of friends. Enjoy the chimney, fire pit, BBQ grill and horses in neigboring lot.Pets are welcome! - 20 min from downtown San Jose - 50 min drive to Int'l airport - 1h 45m from beach - 5 min drive to restaurants, stores The space The house is on a private 2.4 acre property where guests will be left to themselves to enjoy peace and quiet with a stunning view of San Jose far below and the mountains all around. You will enjoy strolling the large lush garden or just sitting on one of our benches overlooking the valley. Enjoy the firepit with limitless firewood available to you. Guest access Guests have use of the entire house and may even rent a Studio Apartment that sleeps 4, if they desire more space (ask me about this - available for an additional fee) which connects to the house but also has a private entrance via its terrace) the Studio remains locked and unused if not requested by guest. Guests can enjoy the large acre and a half property with sitting areas and a fire pit. They may walk about the the safe, private neighborhood and pet our friendly horses (ask about our horse tours), grazing just down the lane! Other things to note Your trained pet is welcome for a flat $15. If you want more than one, please run it by me. A fresh tropical fruit basket greets you on your arrival. You also will be supplied with Costa Rican coffee and a variety of teas. Enjoy visiting and petting our horses, grazing in a field just down the lane. If you are interested in riding our horses, just let us know and we will make it possible for an extra fee. Remember that Costa Rica is a tropical country. During the rainy season (May-Nov) there may be downpours in the afternoons but fortunately is it sunny and beautiful almost every morning.
