Unsurpassed natural beauty and easy access! My giant spa-like, minimally furnished master bedroom overlooks the beautiful Cedar Lake and the sparkling Mpls skyline. Paved bike trail, groomed x-country ski trails, and wooded trails are just across the street. Serenity. Watch the sun rise over the water from your king-size bed. Watch the moon glisten at night! This room is over 500 square feet of pure luxury. In the winter, the floor is warm with hot water in-floor heat. Enjoy a hot bubble bath in your private bathroom. I have a kayak you can use. Bikes too. You are welcome to use/share my kitchen and living room. I have the usual appliances: small but wonderful espresso maker, toaster, hot water dispenser for teas, blender. Please play on my Steinway grand. I have many piano books (Bach, Chopin, Mozart). I have music stands if you are a string player. I am happy to chat with people in general, and happy to guide. I often work at home. If my guests want to chat and hang out in the common areas, I am honored. I play it by ear. My neighborhood is about natural beauty so close to downtown. We have no airplane/ambulance noises. If we want the hustle/bustle and people watching, we bike 10 minutes or kayak to Uptown . . . Here, we have deep woods just across the street. There is a beach one block away (with a lifeguard). You can bike to the Guthrie Theater, Mississippi River, University of Minnesota, or the Twins Stadium--without ever getting off the bike trail! In the winter, groomed skate-ski trail passes through here on the lake. Downtown is 5 minutes drive by freeway or local. Biking will take you 20-30 minutes all on a flat bike path, filled with native grasses. I am happy to lend you my bike and lock. There is limited commuter city bus service to downtown just half a block away. Bicycle and rollerblade commuting is not rare around here. There is "Car to Go" nearby. My front yard abuts the Minneapolis Park Board's land, so you must approach the house from the alley. I have coded access to the house so you can come/go anytime. I have a large friendly cat and an American Eskimo 21-pound dog. My dog is confined to the first floor.
