The space This charming 3-season cottage is a great antidote to urban stress - or stress of any kind! Filled with light and the warmth of wood beams and floors, you feel instantly at home among furnishings and art that are both beautiful and delightfully quirky. The best of the place, however, is outside: it boasts 150 ft of easily accessible waterfront on a saltwater tidal bay that makes for warmer swimming than open ocean, and shelter from the blustery winds of many coastal properties. The sun sets right across the bay, making for spectacular viewing from the deck over drinks or dinner. It's a very peaceful spot that's secluded without feeling isolated, and the neighbours are warm and welcoming. The kayaking in this area is second to none. We have two ocean going kayaks for renters’ use. You'd never know you're just a 10 minute drive - really - from downtown Lunenburg. So if you never want to cook a meal or pour your own glass of wine, you'll be well served there or in Mahone Bay, which is 15 minutes away.
