This beautiful ocean view property is a couple of minutes walk to Kuaotunu Beach and Luke's Kitchen, a well known local restaurant. The house is nestled on 4.5 acres of stunning gardens and native bush. The house consists of a 4 bedroom dwelling on the ground floor with an additional 2 bedrooms and an extra bathroom/toilet upstairs. "Kahukura" has ample parking for boats. The boat ramp is 1 kilometre away. The space The entrance is from the main deck into the sunroom/lounge. This large lounge has an open fireplace (first barrow-load of firewood provided - $25 per barrow-load thereafter). The dining room adjoins the lounge. The kitchen has an eye level oven and all the cooking equipment you will need including microwave and dishwasher. The laundry has a washing machine and dryer. There is a separate toilet & bathroom with tiled floor and shower on the ground floor. Both shower and toilet have hand rails fitted. There is a 2nd toilet/bathroom upstairs. There is a second lounge & TV area on the ground floor which has a large 50 inch TV with DVD player attached. There is also a smart TV in the main living room with movies on Netflix etc plus sound system. For smaller numbers of guests it is quite possible to block off one half of the house & live in the other if so required. There is an outdoor living area directly outside the kitchen with both gas & wood-fired barbecues. Kahukura has ample parking area for boats. The ground floor has 4 bedrooms. Upstairs has 2 further bedrooms, 1 large & 1 small, both with queen size beds (plus bathroom and toilet). A balcony leading from the larger upstairs bedroom has excellent views of the ocean. There is also a small kitchenette upstairs suitable for tea and coffee making. Guest access The whole house is yours. The ground floor has 2 lockable entrance doors (the main living room and the back door) with key access. Keys are located in a lockbox on the right hand pole on the main deck immediately outside the main living room. Contact the owner re code. The remaining doors are lockable only from the inside.
