Sapphire Tranquility

Steps away from the aqua blue water where the Caribbean Sea meets the Atlantic Ocean our island home boasts magnificent views of sunrise each morning, moonrise each evening. The patio opens on the most private beach in Sapphire with a lovely breeze and views of St. John & Tortola. Sapphire is a perfect, romantic couples getaway. Our condo is as close as you can get to water's edge - nothing between you & the gentle sound of the Caribbean surf. The space “Sapphire Tranquility” is a studio/open layout with a bedroom area, living/dining area and a fully equipped kitchen, with everything you need to make a gourmet meal. The kitchen was recently renovated with all new appliances and is stocked with utensils, cookware and common staples such as sugar & spices. Dine al fresco on the patio or indoors where you can still enjoy the ocean breeze & an amazing view. The bedroom area features a pillow top king-sized bed. The condo is equipped with Cable TV, WiFi, linens and towels (both bath and beach), hair dryer, curling iron, beach chairs, and a cooler. Sapphire Beach is one of the prettiest beaches on St. Thomas. Spend the day swimming in the warm, crystal clear water. Snorkel to view the coral, colorful tropical fish, sea turtles & spotted rays. Go paddle boarding, kayaking or take a day or evening sail right out of our marina. If you like deep sea fishing you may get lucky aboard one of the fishing vessels and bring home tuna, mahi, grouper or wahoo (our local catch of the day) A fresh water bi-level pool sits on the edge of the water. Complimentary lounge chairs are provided at both the beach and the pool. Our condo complex is a gated property with 24/7 security and is located a mile from Red Hook which offers numerous restaurants and shops, as well as the ferry dock for trips to St. John and the BVI. Moe's Market offers organic chicken & meats, organic vegetables and a wide range of other products in addition to wine, beer and spirits. There are many live music venues on Island. Sapphire Bar & Grill offers several afternoons of live music in addition to drinks & food in the afternoon. In addition to the Beach Bar, there is a coffee/breakfast shop, pizzeria and restaurant (Sea Salt) all a short stroll from your condo. You never need to leave Sapphire; however, there are several great dining options in Red Hook, a mile from Sapphire. The Ferry Dock to St John is in Red Hook. Guest access All access except for owners locked closets. Other things to note There is a small coin operated laundry on property near the marina. RE SUNSCREEN: The USVI recently banned the use and sale of sunscreens that contain chemicals harmful to coral. Oxybenzone, Octinoxate and Octocrylene are chemicals that result in bleaching of coral. They are poisonous to coral ecosystems. Mineral based sunscreens that contain either zinc oxide or titanium dioxide are the only products that may be used in the USVI.
