This beautiful farmhouse was built in 1672. It is a fine and little altered unique example of an Island yeoman farmer's house standing alone in its own grounds and works very well for families with a mix of adults and children. It also has a large wood fired hot tub in the garden (£75 booking extra) and is located on the renowned Island attraction the Garlic Farm with onsite restaurant, farm shop, games room and tennis court. The space Little Mersley Farmhouse is located on the Garlic Farm nestled at the foot of Mersley Down in the Arreton Valley, an area of outstanding natural beauty. Following a sensitive renovation, it is now available as our largest most well appointed cottage. The property sleeps up to 10 in 2 double ensuite rooms and 3 twin rooms. It works very well for families with a mixture of adults and children. Guests enjoy our onsite restaurant and farm shop which serves breakfast and lunch every day as well as access to the wood fired hot tub (£75 extra, exclusive to the property, no bubbles), games room, tennis court, football pitch and open access to all the beautiful surrounding land. Chickens, peacocks and red squirrels roam freely around the farm with highland cattle and horses in the surrounding fields. The farm is ideally located for exploring the Island, lying at the hub of miles of footpaths and cycle ways for which the Island is famous with beaches no more than 10 minutes away by car. Ground floor: Spacious downstairs master bedroom with en suite toilet and shower. Accessible for those who find stairs difficult. The room is furnished with a romantic brass bed and tasteful chest of drawers and wardrobe. The sitting room benefits from a wood burning stove bringing warmth and atmosphere. The dining room is off the well-equipped galley kitchen with separate cloakroom/utility room and toilet. First floor: Double bedroom with ensuite shower and toilet. Twin bedded room and separate bathroom with bath tub. Second floor: Two twin bedded rooms in the eaves of the house.
