Quaint Comfort in Downtown Palmer

Cute studio in detached outbuilding! This room has the essentials - TV (w/Netflix), WiFi, microwave, desk, dishes, bathroom amenities and more. It's small but private - it's separate from the main house so no need to worry about noise! It's in the heart of downtown Palmer, perfect for walking around town or using Palmer as your base camp for exploring Alaska. Safe, secure and family-friendly. We're here to make sure your stay in Alaska is top-notch. We're happy to help with your travel plans! The space A dog is welcome for an additional fee of $45 per stay. Sorry, NO cats allowed. If you have allergies, let us know. We'll be sure to rid the place of dog dander prior to your arrival. We very rarely have guests that bring dog (we don’t own any ourselves) so don’t worry too much about excess fur and dander. There is a large yard, so (friendly) outdoor pets are also welcome. Sit out and enjoy the weather, have a BBQ, play in the garden! Bed is full-size and comfy. There are two steps into the property so it's not wheelchair accessible. There's no cable service but we have Netflix and it's a smart TV so you can connect to your Hulu or Amazon accounts. A microwave and hot plate are available for your use - if you need access to a stove or oven, we can likely arrange for you to use the one in the main house, provided we are home. Just let us know. The cottage is close to hiking trails, the amazing Hatcher Pass recreational area, and in the heart of Alaska’s greatest town! Palmer is “Alaska at its Best!” Guest access In the summer months, there's a garden you're welcome to harvest fresh veggies from. Laundry service is available for an added fee. If you need to stick something in the freezer (such as fish from one of many local streams!), we'd be happy to accommodate you. If you need a crib or air mattress for an additional guest, please let us know. It'll be cramped with an extra bed space, but it'll work! There's a gas grill outside of the unit that you're welcome to use. Other things to note There's a yard around the property, in case you bring a small child or pet. We do live in the center of the city limits so Palmer does have a noise ordinance after 10pm. It's a fairly chill community.
