'Green Leaf Cottage' is a cozy cottage that can accommodate 3 people, located in the beautiful village of Agia Efimia where you can enjoy a quiet stay. All amenities are offered within a walking distance, super-markets, bakeries, traditional taverns, a diving school, boat and motorbike rentals. Many small pebble coves can be found ideal for swimming. The location is an ideal base for exploring Kefalonia island. "Green Leaf" is a cozy summer home that has minimalistic style and rustic touches with a sea inspired character. The exterior includes a BBQ area and two lounge areas where you can enjoy the sea & mountain view and smell the herb garden on one side and on the other side of the house relax at the sunbeds placed on a pebble floor and absorb the greek sun. The interior is an open plan space with plenty of light and air flow that includes a couch/bed, a marble benchtop fully equipped kitchen, a queen size bed and a bathroom. Free WiFi, 40 inch smart TV and Nespresso coffee machine. Guests will be able to access all spaces of the house. We usually welcome guests in person, unless guests prefer self check-in. We are available at any time to assist with anything that the guests might need. Agia Efimia is a small village located at the mid-east side of Kefalonia, here you can find restaurants, cafes, supermarkets, taxis, a scuba diving center, boat rentals and lovely small pebble beaches all within walking distance. ''Green Leaf'' is 350m away from the coast and the village center. A network of dirt roads from Agia Efimia to Makriotika and to Divarata (near Myrtos beach) is accessible from the house for hikes. Longer hikes are also available throughout the island. The location is ideal to get around the large island of Kefalonia as it is centrally positioned. Famous Myrtos beach is only 15 mins drive, Antisamos beach 20 mins drive, Melissani cave 10 mins, , Assos village 25 mins, Fiskardo 25 mins and the capital Argostoli 35 mins drive. Everything you might need during your holidays is within walking distance from the house. You can book a taxi via phone (ask us), and you can also find taxis in the village center. Free street parking is available at the house. As Kefalonia is a large island with big diversity from area to area, renting a car will allow you to explore every corner it. There are literally hundreds of beautiful beaches, there are also plenty of beautiful walking/hiking routes around Kefalonia that can be combined with beach visits and local taverns (ask us for tips). Towels (excluding beach towels) plus all linen are provided and can be changed by the renters whenever they like, without the need of having to clean them. The property is cleaned at the changeover day.
