Winter wonderland activities include the fire pit, use of our sleds and discs to enjoy the local hills, snow ball fights, outdoor movies by the fire pit, s'mores, snuggle by the fireplace, games for all ages and a covered patio to enjoy the snow. Also don't forget that skiing is less than 40 minutes away! It’s our family cottage so feel free to borrow our fishing poles, our golf clubs, our kayaks, our bicycles, our snow sleds, our videos, our outdoor games or our indoor games! Watch a movie in the backyard by the fire pit or under our patio! Play in our horseshoe pit! So much to do! Deer are in the front yard at times! We love it here and hope you do too!! In addition to the amazing fishing, this area has one of the most extensive trail systems in the southwest for hiking, biking, horseback riding, quading and more. Sunrise Ski resort is less than 40 minutes away with 3 beautiful mountains to ski, snow board or sled. Lots of local sledding as well. If shopping is in your interest, you will love the antique stores and the multitude of arts and craft shows that happen in the summer. Summer festival's include; The Hot Air Balloon festival, music festivals, rodeo, wine festival, Tainbow Lake fishing tournament, fishing festival, Renaissance Faire, and more . If you love to golf, there are 3 amazing public courses close by. Winter-Spring: come up for the snow! Summer: come up to escape the heat! Attend all the festivals!
