Totally equipped & private house, located on the brinch of the cliffs above the shore of the lake that offers unbeatable views in Valle de Bravo. It is located at the foot of La Peña within El Escondrijo, the most unique and exclusive places in Valle de Bravo. OUR HOME IS COMPLETELY SECLUDED AND WITH NO INTERACTION IF DESIRED. ACCESS TO & FROM THE PROPERTY IS DIFFICULT AND COULD BE STRENOUS FOR ELDERY'S OR PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES. The space It is ideal for families who want to spend an unforgettable weekend in Valle. The space has been recently renovated and is trully enabled for a wonderful and unforgettable visit. Currently, the jacuzzi that you see in the pictures is fully functional and included in the price of the rent as a limited time offer, (normally it's use generates an energy and water recovery cost of $2,000 pesos per weekend not included in the price of the rent). you could use it cold (16 - 18°C) or warm (36-38°C) just let us know in advance. If you'd like some firewood, we can supply it for you @ $350 per charge (or you could buy it on your way here). Guest access The experience begins at the entrance to La Casita through a completely new stone corridor among the undergrowth of La Peña, it reaches the main entrance through a ramp accompanied by beautiful views. Please take into account that access is complicated and stairs have to be climbed. ACCESS IS STEEP AND NARROW. BE ADVISED THAT OLDER PEOPLE, CHILDREN WITHOUT AN ADULT SUPERVISION OR PEOPLE WHO HAVE ANY PHYSICAL DISABILITIES MIGHT HAVE TROUBLES ACCESSING THE PLACE. Other things to note There is a full kitchen and grill overlooking the lake with espectacular views to prepare and enjoy foods. The grill works with coal which you must bring in order to use it. Complimentary gourmet coffee to start your beautiful day full of energy is provided with your stay. Wood for the fireplace must be asked for in advance, a fee is charged for a full load which should last for the whole weekend. We ask to take care of the space as if it were your own. All our love, commitment and care is placed in every corner of the Casita and we hope that it is respected and maintained. As The Casita is located within amazing boulders and grates of La Peña, sometimes it is common to find spiders inside the property, sometimes other insects, sometimes you'll see Quiznikies and country mice, even foxes have been spotted at night. If any of your company have any type of allergies or phobias, please check with us before booking. We offer two kayaks for your enjoyment (subject to availability and good weather conditions, cost is usually $250 per day per kayak but we are offering them at no cost for a limited time on reservations of 2 or more nights). When available, you can use them anytime for as long as you like (you only need to sign a disclaimer for the associated risks and any damages that might occur). Pets are welcome 🐾 We’re happy to host them, but they must be included at the time of booking. If pets are not disclosed in advance, we reserve the right to deny entry or apply an additional fee.
