Exclusive living at the city park

Welcome to Bad Driburg! With me you will stay on the edge of the city directly opposite the city park with lots of greenery and a small lake. The city center, spa park, train station,... are within walking distance. Close to the house is also a stop of the city bus for remote city areas. Despite the proximity to the city and the moderately busy Mühlenstraße, the first-floor apartment (70 square meters) can be described as quiet, which is additionally ensured by the high-quality sound-insulated windows. The space I have tried to make the LIVING ROOM [20 sqm] stylish & practical. The living area made of genuine leather serves as a cozy seating area for up to 4 people during the day, but can also be used effortlessly as a bed with a lying surface (1.25 x 2.00 m) for sleeping. In addition to a coffee table and closets, there is a large brand new TV with satellite reception, a receiver including many films on DVD. Radio, favorite music & information is possible with “Alexa!” From the living room, the large terrace is also directly accessible, where smokers are of course allowed to smoke. The DINING ROOM [10 sqm] contains a round table with 4 seats as well as 1 sideboard and a bar stool. For toddlers, a high chair (available) can be provided. Through the large window you have a view of the lawn and the opposite entrance to the city park - only 20 meters from the property. Here you can find peace and shade in summer. The park also offers a place for dog owners to walk their dogs. By the way, there is a café about 100 m away, which is visited daily from afar because of the excellent inexpensive cakes! The 2nd LIVING ROOM [10 sqm] can be used as an additional bedroom, children's room or study. Here you will find a 2nd double bed, closet with printer, books,... as well as a secretary with a comfortable chair for working, for example on a laptop. There is also an additional sink in the room with a mirror cabinet to relieve the bathroom. In the BEDROOM [14 sqm] there is a double bed (1.60 x 2.00 m) with 2 night consoles, a wardrobe and a sideboard on which a large TV is located. The lighting in the room is pleasant, partly dimmable in color. In the kitchen [7 sqm] you will find all kitchen appliances compactly according to the latest standard: Stove + extractor hood + microwave + dishwasher + fridge-freezer + toaster + coffee maker + kettle. In the cabinets, there are all the accessories of a fully equipped kitchen, so that nothing stands in the way of cooking, frying & baking your favorite dishes. The bathroom [4 sqm] is small but functionally equipped. In addition to the usual toilet, it contains a vanity with mirror cabinet + 2 additional cabinets as well as a "rain shower" of the latest design. In addition to the bright ENTRANCE AREA with shoe cabinet, the HALLWAY [5 sqm] is also worth mentioning. Here you will find the wardrobe, a chest of drawers with mirror as well as an "iPad," the control center for the automatic control of the blinds & random lighting, which makes manual operation superfluous during the day and at night as well as serves as burglary protection. On the "iPad" you can find useful information about sights in Bad Driburg & surroundings, but games for entertainment will also be installed on it,... NEW! Fitness room & game room Guest access You have access to the large TERRACE [approx. 25 sqm], where you can breathe in fresh air - surrounded by shrubs as a privacy screen - and on summer days, for example, have wonderful barbecues. Seating and a grill will be provided upon request. The terrace is also ideal for outdoor games (softball,...). In the basement, the following rooms are available: # NEW: Fitness or party/game room # LAUNDRY ROOM with washing machine (for a fee) # DRYING ROOM [18 sqm] heated # BICYCLE ROOM [9 sqm] for parking a maximum of 3 bikes / 1 bike can be rented for a fee. Other things to note You always have a contact person in the house to whom you can communicate your wishes, questions, but also praise. Yasmin lives on the upper floor, is very friendly and helpful. She will also welcome you upon arrival. PLEASE NOTE: Bad Driburg is a health resort. As a result, a tourist tax of €3.10, severely disabled (S) €2.40 per person per night will be charged. Children up to 14 years are free of charge. In addition, people who are in the city for business without exception, for example: workers such as fitters, seminar participants, Bundeswehr soldiers, etc. are exempt from the spa tax. This amount is to be paid on site to Yasmin upon issuance of a spa card (with many discounts, e.g. for the spa...) and is NOT included in the price for the overnight stay. If necessary, a 5th person can share the apartment or sleep in it! A comfortable "air bed" (better than an ordinary air mattress!) is available for this purpose. For this additional person there is an extra charge of €35/night.
