Palazzo Giani is located in the historic pedestrian center of Chiavenna and is located inside an ancient 14th century palace, with an exclusive garden and private internal courtyard, shared with the guests of Palazzo Giani. There are 3 types of apartments. The CANTON apartment, located on the mezzanine floor, is characterized by its beautiful vaulted ceiling, its brightness, the private balcony, the direct access to the garden and the internal courtyard overlooking the Mera river. The space The CANTON apartment "garden view", located on the mezzanine floor, is an elegant 39 m2 apartment that can comfortably accommodate up to 4 people. It is the top of the range of Palazzo Giani, it distinguishes it for its beautiful vaulted ceiling, for its brightness, it has a private balcony and direct access to the garden and internal courtyard overlooking the Mera river. It is open space, consisting of a fully equipped kitchenette with induction hob, dishwasher, fridge, microwave, Nespresso coffee machine, kettle, toaster and juicer. There is a comfortable double bed, a sofa that becomes a comfortable double bed to accommodate the third/fourth guest, a table and Smart TV, furthermore the bathroom has a large shower with shower head, bidet, toilet and hairdryer. We provide each guest with sets of towels, toiletries and slippers. A minibar/cellar service is available, with water, a selection of soft drinks, beers and wines for a fee. The apartment is equipped with air conditioning, heating and free high-speed Wi-Fi network. In the palace there is a garden with a beautiful courtyard, for the exclusive use of guests of Palazzo Giani. From the apartment you will have the possibility of directly accessing the internal courtyard, with a splendid view of the Mera river. Our garden is a hidden paradise where you can relax and enjoy good wine, it is our best kept secret. A place to rejuvenate and enjoy the views of the Mera River and mountains, it is equipped with comfortable and contemporary furniture, all you have to do is simply relax. PALAZZO GIANI has 3 luxury apartments: - CANTON apartment with garden view (39 m2 apartment, located on the mezzanine floor, suitable for a maximum of 4 people) - CAURGA Deluxe Apartment (38 m2 apartment, located on the ground floor, suitable for a maximum of 4 people) - PARADISO Superior Apartment (31 m2 apartment, located on the 1st floor, suitable for a maximum of 2 people) Guest access Self Check-in is available, we will not be physically present on site and it is not possible to request a check-in in person. A few days before your stay, you will be contacted via Whats App, you will be asked for the passport or identity card of all guests who will stay, (this is because Italian law provides for the obligation to communicate the personal data of the guests to the competent authority guests of all ages and the duration of their stay) and the payment of the tourist tax, we will send you the link to make the payment by credit card. Once you have received the documents and the payment of the tax, you will receive illustrative videos on Whats App, which will explain how to access the apartment, access code and various useful information for your stay. The apartment is located in the historic center of Chiavenna, in the ZTL area (limited traffic zone) not directly accessible by car. Other things to note Below you will find our optional extra services, which we offer to improve your stay. If you are interested, you can let us know when booking, so that we can organize in advance to guarantee provision. OPTIONAL EXTRA SERVICES: - For bookings of 2 guests we prepare a double bed, the sofa bed is used for the 3-4th guest, or on request for those who need to sleep separately. If you need to sleep in 2 separate beds, it must be kindly communicated and the cost of the supplement for additional bed linen is €20.00. - Upon request and availability, it is possible to request the Early Check-in service which allows you to access early, from 1pm instead of 3pm, at a cost of €20.00. - Upon request and availability, it is possible to request the Late Check-out service which allows you to keep the apartment until 12:00 instead of 10:00, at a cost of €20.00. - For those interested, upon request, we provide a parking ticket at a cost of €10.00 per day valid for 24 hours (from 3:00 pm to 3:00 pm the following day) to be displayed on the dashboard of the car. The ticket will allow you to park in all public car parks in Chiavenna, marked by blue lines. If interested, you will need to provide the car's license plate number in advance. - Upon advance request (before your arrival) it is possible to have additional towels, in addition to those already present, at a cost of €10.00 per person. - Upon request and availability, it is possible to request a rearrangement of the apartment, with a change of towels, at a cost of €50.00. - Upon request/availability, we provide a cot/cot with bed linen and high chair at a cost of €30.00 per day. - Upon advance request it is possible to request a romantic arrangement, bouquet of flowers, bottle of wine, birthday cake. The cost of the service varies based on requests. - Dogs are welcome at Palazzo Giani, their presence must be reported in advance, the expected supplement is €20.00 per day per dog, which also includes extra sanitization at the end of the stay. IMPORTANT pets are allowed with a supplement, only dogs, all other pets are not accepted. OTHER IMPORTANT INFO: - The municipality of Chiavenna requests payment of the tourist tax of € 1.00 per person per night, to be paid before your arrival (we will send you the link to make payment by credit card). - Guests are reminded that SMOKING is FORBIDDEN inside the apartment, there is a smoke and carbon monoxide detector. - Guests are reminded that it is FORBIDDEN to bring bicycles/e-bikes/scooters into the apartment and common areas. Palazzo Giani offers secure bicycle storage dedicated to our guests, please ask when booking whether you need to use the bike storage. - Check-in is scheduled from 3.00 pm to 11.00 pm, after that time it will no longer be possible to access. - It is mandatory that at least one of the guests has Whats App for Self Check-in. - For any additional guests, there is a supplement per person per day. The cost is €40.00 for adults and €30.00 for children up to 12 years old. - Any damage caused to the apartment and/or condominium will be charged to your credit card. - Please read all the information carefully before making your reservation.
