CIN: IT023091B4HZBUG9TN The space The Red Apartment is a Short Term Rental (Locazione turistica in Italian), on the 1st floor of a historic building (22 steps, no elevator!). In the very heart of the Veronese movida, 100 meters from Piazza Erbe, 300 meters from Juliet’s House, and 400 meters from the Arena, literally surrounded by many cafes, restaurants, shops, etc. Situated in a pedestrian area of the ZTL (Limited Traffic Zone), taxis can conveniently drop you off right at our building. A secure public parking garage is an 8-minute walk away, with a daily rate of €25. This apartment features 3 bedrooms (each one with a double bed and an A/C unit), 2 bathrooms (both with a toilet and shower, but no A/C), and a charming vintage kitchen (with a fan, no A/C). The entire apartment is heated with radiators. IMPORTANT: Please note that the property is not suitable for oversized guests or those with mobility impairments. There is 1 step inside the ante-bathroom. There is no living room. There is no dishwasher. A washing machine is available, but there is no dryer. BEDROOMS: All 3 double beds are designed by Architect Roberto Nicolis from Verona and handcrafted by local artisans. The headboards are made of hand-stitched Tuscan silk velvet, adding a touch of elegance and luxury. All our beds, including the extra single beds (available for larger groups), are equipped with orthopedic wooden slats, proudly made in Italy, to ensure maximum comfort. Each bed (including extra single beds) is equipped with a top-quality memory foam mattress, crafted in Tuscany. All of our mattresses are double-protected: each features a fully waterproof, zip-locked soft cover, along with an additional cotton and waterproof cover. For added comfort, each guest is provided with two pillows of varying sizes and firmness. All pillows are made of memory foam and have double protection: a zippered waterproof soft protector, plus a cotton protector, and on top of that there is a normal cotton pillowcase. Our bed linens are 100% cotton only. Master Bedroom (27 sq m): Originally a spacious living room with a sofa bed and lounge area, this room now boasts a stylish and comfortable king-size bed (180 x 200 cm) with a 30 cm thick memory foam mattress. The lounge area remains, and we’ve added a new 55" HD Smart TV (streaming only, no cable). The room features a balcony where you can enjoy the vibrant Veronese atmosphere, especially on weekends. For larger groups, we can set up 1 or 2 extra single beds (80 x 190 cm each) in this room. Bedroom No. 2: A double room with soaring ceilings, furnished with a standard double bed (160 x 190 cm). This room offers a quiet, serene atmosphere, perfect for relaxation. Bedroom No. 3: Another double room with soaring ceilings, featuring a standard double bed (160 x 190 cm). Located at the end of a long corridor, this room is conveniently close to the bathrooms and the window overlooks the quiet back of the building. BATHROOMS: The apartment features an over-40-year-old red ante-bathroom (known as "anti-bagno" in Italian), a traditional space that separates the bathroom from the rest of the house in a hygienic way. It features a vintage sink and large mirrors, with the washing machine hidden inside a big locker. From the ante-bathroom, you can access two bathrooms, each equipped with a toilet and shower. Both bathrooms' fixtures were newly installed. One of the bathrooms has a sliding door. KITCHEN: The Red dining area is spacious and elegant, with a large French door leading to a generous balcony. The kitchen is over 40 years old and well-preserved, with charming wear and tear, featuring solid wood construction. During the summer, the apartment is treated for common pests like ants. The space is inspected before each guest's arrival and after every check-out, but you may notice occasional evidence of a few remaining ants. Throughout the apartment, except in the kitchen and bathrooms, the floors are made of Veronese red marble. Both the kitchen and the bathrooms have handcrafted red-tile floors and walls that are over 40 years old. CIN: IT023091B4HZBUG9TN Guest access The big mirror wardrobe in the hall is locked and is not for our guests' use. We have a basic vintage kitchen. Only light cooking is allowed! No frying!!! No spicy/smelly food cooking! The dining area has a big table and 6 chairs, and an elegant balcony overlooking Corso Porta Borsari. A smart UHD TV 4K 55' with Wi-Fi connection (Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, etc., to log in with your credentials), with no cable available. One of our 2 bathrooms has a sliding door. A baby travel cot (120x60 cm, for children up to 15 kg) and a baby high chair are provided only upon request, at least 1 day before your arrival, free of charge! Other things to note BF Red cannot be held liable for any unforeseen circumstances, so we suggest you buy travel insurance to protect yourself. We are not accountable for the noise coming from the neighbors from 8 AM To 10 PM. If guests have any specific requirements, they need to state that BEFORE they book. The apartment is not conducive to anyone large-sized and/or with mobility impairments. There are 22 steps from the entrance of the building to the apartment, with no elevator. Read carefully our House rules with all check-in details. Please ensure that you provide us with the correct arrival time.  At the end of your stay, please leave the apartment in order. 6 kW is the maximum available electric power for this apartment; therefore, avoid the use of all electronic devices at the same time! Keep the windows closed while the A/C or heating is on! Summer: An A/C split unit is present in all 3 bedrooms. The kitchen comes with a fan only. Winter: Heating radiators are present in 3 bedrooms, in the kitchen, and bathrooms. We regularly clean our AC split unit filters. We don't use any air fresheners or diffusers during our guests' stay. We do a 15-minute long, very detailed time-stamp video of every part of the apartment, about 30 minutes prior to each guest' arrival, to avoid any "condition" issue claim.
