The house is a combination of tradition and modernity in both its structure and furnishings: it consists of 5 trulli connected to a huge ‘lamia’ (400 square metres) which has been renovated by a famous interior designer and featured in an interior design magazine. The space IINTERIOR: The spacious living area consists of four 18th-century trulli with exposed stone walls. On the left, there is a two-seater sofa and an armchair in front of the fireplace, and on the right, there is a table with four chairs that can be used for an intimate dinner, as a study area, or for playing cards. The central trullo leads to the large “lamia” where the living area continues: there are three sofas, a SMART TV and a partially separate dining area with a round table for 8 people and a view of the gazebo overlooking the swimming pool. A side corridor to the living area leads to a large, fully equipped kitchen with a table for 6/8 people and crockery (the crockery is made of ceramics from Grottaglie, a famous Apulian town known for its ceramics). A French window leads from the kitchen to the gazebo overlooking the swimming pool. There are 4 bedrooms: two on the first floor (accessed from the living area via a convenient stone and masonry staircase) with large en-suite bathrooms and two more on the ground floor, with a shared bathroom (height 1.90 m and large shower with height 2.10 m): one created in a trullo with a height of 4.30 m and the other, adjacent, with exposed stone in two places and a height of 1.90 m. The service area of the house consists of a laundry room (1.90 m high) and a storage room containing rubbish bins, cupboards with additional crockery to that already in the kitchen and an additional refrigerator with freezer. The entire house is air-conditioned and heated with a state-of-the-art multi-split fan coil system with separate temperature control for each room. OUTSIDE: The house is surrounded by a terraced garden of approximately 6,000 square metres, with many dry stone walls (typical of the area) and numerous shaded areas, centuries-old plants, flowers and aromatic herbs. There is a large 50 square metre gazebo with a roof facing the swimming pool and close to the kitchen, with a table for 12 people and a living area with sofas, armchairs and two coffee tables. There is another gazebo in the pool area with a double bed. In the square in front of the trulli there is another gazebo with a table for 10 people and a view of the lush garden. An additional outdoor conversation area with sofas and armchairs has been set up in the shade of the holm oaks, in front of the trulli, while another relaxation area with deckchairs has been set up under a huge centuries-old oak tree that provides shade from lunchtime until late afternoon. For outdoor barbecues, guests have access to a Weber barbecue. An orchard is also available for guests to enjoy.
