Unobstructed view The space Our History The building was constructed in 1993 and initially it operated as a night club, the Kioni Club, which achieved considerable local fame during the period 1993 to 1997. In 1998 the building was expanded and transformed into a traditional Ionian microcosm, “Likoudis Villas”. Likoudis Villas has, since then, been run as a family business. In 2020 the entire complex, including the pool areas, was renovated once again. Likoudis Villas has an unbeatable location and occupies a setting with views which take the breath away Likoudis is built on a verdant hillside which is dominated by Mediterranean forest and its aromas. It boasts a unique location and seems to hang above the beautiful fishing village of Kioni. Its private estate of almost one acre is scattered with centuries old olive trees, wild trees and local flora such as holly, cypress and wild laurel. In amongst these we have formed stone walled, tiered gardens planted with seasonal flowers, clematis and aromatic herbs such as sage, oregano and thyme. At one end there is a small orchard with oranges, lemons and pomegranates which provide a kaleidoscope of colors and fragrances. The complex comprises three levels and on the lowest level, next to the cypress trees, there is a swimming pool, a shaded barbecue area and a hammock under an olive for endless hours of dreamy reading. We designed and built this complex with imagination and passion, and to offer you comfort and enjoyment throughout your vacation, whilst at the same time respecting the rich traditions of Ithaka and the Ionian islands. Stone, firebricks, reclaimed wood from demolished buildings and pre-earthquake artefacts are the dominant materials throughout. All of our suites will charm and captivate you from the first moment of your arrival, with their traditional decoration, functionality and homely atmosphere. The serenity and aura that the suites exude will guarantee you an unforgettable stay. They are spacious, fully equipped, and combine modern comforts with traditional elements of the past … an oil lamp … a loom … an antique bread proving shelf … Our regular visitors are enchanted by the positive energy exuded by our location, gardens and interiors and we invite you to experience it too.
