Enjoy a stylish experience at this centrally-located place which is close to the Musical Theatre and exhibition square. The apartment is about a 10 minute walk from the Rhine. Tram stop “ Musical Theater” is a 2-minute walk away from the apartment. Basel SBB train station is about a 20-minute tram ride away. Marktplatz and the Old Town are about a 10-minute tram ride away from the apartment. The space This recently renovated apartment has everything you need to make your city stay memorable. The condo has a washing machine as well as a dryer in the unit and has a fully stocked kitchen. There is one bedroom that is separated from the living room, one bathroom, and one balcony. The windows were replaced in October 2024 to improve the guest experience and blackout shutters were installed to ensure that every guest gets a good night's sleep. The apartment is located in the Basel neighborhood called “Matthäus,” which has many small shops and cafés. The apartment is a short tram ride away from Basel's many world class museums. The apartment is also walking distance to the Congress Center at Messeplatz; therefore, it is ideal for guests that are visiting Basel to attend conferences. The Rhine river only takes about 10 minutes to walk to. There is a farmer’s market in the neighborhood every Saturday from 8 a.m. - 1 p.m. The apartment is also ideally located for tourists to enjoy the Basler Herbstmesse/Autumn Fair that takes place from late October to early November and the Christmas Market that takes place from late November to late December. Guest access Guests will have access to the entire apartment. Other things to note This apartment is centrally located in a lively neighborhood, which adds to its charm; however, please note that due to this you may hear cars going by and trams from time to time. You will not have a view of the Rhine from the apartment. All guests will receive Basel Cards for the duration of their stay. The latest possible check-out time is 11 am. If you would like to check out after 11 am, please request late check-out as soon as possible. Late check-out has to be requested in advance and approved. It is not guaranteed. An additional late check-out fee will apply. If you are traveling with a child, a travel crib is also available for an additional fee of 15 Swiss Francs per night. If you would like the travel crib to be in the apartment, please message me. If you are arriving by car, there is a parking spot in a private parking garage that you can rent for an additional 30 Swiss Francs per night. The private parking garage is a 3-minute walk away from the apartment. If you would like to rent the private parking spot, please message me before your arrival and I will send you a request for the additional fee through Airbnb.
