Dog friendly/Level 2 EV charger/Generator

Come relax in this newly renovated 3bd/2bath cabin right by Hunter ski mountain. If you walk up the steep hill from the house you can ski down one of the blue slopes (Sleepy Hollow trail) of Hunter ski mountain. Must be 21 years old and older to book. No parties are allowed. No smoking (cigarettes and e-cigarettes) or drugs (including weed) inside the house. We opt out of Airbnb services. ** No check out on Feb 24, 2026 as there is limited cleaning services on that day. The space * The first floor bedroom has a bunk bed (full sized bed with twin top bunk) and a twin trundle. The weight limit for the twin top bunk is 100 lbs and should be for small children only. The weight limit for the full sized bed is 350 lbs. The trundle weight limit is 250lbs. (Please note that use of the bunk bed is at your own risk.) *** The living room has a full sized pull out sofa bed with a memory foam mattress. The second floor has 2 bedrooms with king sized beds in each bedroom. There are two walk-in showers, one upstairs and one on the first floor. Starter toilet paper and paper towels are provided. Body wash, shampoo & conditioner are provided. Hair dryers are present in each of the bathrooms. Mouthwash, hand soap, hand lotion and Q-tips are also available. There are 4 Roku TVs throughout the house, a 43 inch Roku TV in the living room, a 32 inch Roku TV in the first floor bedroom, a 40 inch Roku TV in the first bedroom upstairs and a 32 inch Roku TV in the second bedroom upstairs. Spectrum TV app with 60 basic channels on the Roku TVs. Sound bar system in the living room. New electric washer/ ductless dryer and new dishwasher. New minisplits for heat and air-conditioning. In each of the bedrooms and living room. New generator for the house. Nespresso coffee maker with starter Nespresso pods, variety of teas, and hot chocolate. Baby high chair and children’s plates and cups. Hair dryers are available in each bathroom. Iron with ironing board is located in the first floor bedroom closet. FYI- there is an unpaved driveway which may get muddy with rain and snowy weather. SUV/AWD vehicles are highly suggested particularly in the snow and rain. There are 2 motion sensor security cameras, one facing the driveway and the other facing the front entry door, that records video and audio, to note the number of occupants. (8 guests maximum including children- additional guest will be $50/ guest). Dogs only with an additional fee of $100 per dog per stay. Must be house trained and under 50 pounds. Confirm with host before booking, certain breeds are NOT allowed, as per the home insurance policy. Please do not allow pets on furniture or beds. Dogs should not be left unattended inside or outside the home. If leaving your dog inside the house please place them in a crate. Pooping/peeing outside the house only (please pick up any poop). Any dogs brought without permission or that break any of these rules will result in an additional fee if $500 and guests may be asked to leave the premises without refund. Feel free to contact us with any additional questions you might have. In Hunter, you will be surrounded by nature, which includes insects and wild animals. There have been bears roaming around so please be aware and alert at all times. Please do not leave any food in cars. This may attract bears and we are not held responsible for any damages to your property while staying at our cabin. Guest access Guests have access to the entire inside of the house. There is ongoing outdoor construction. Please excuse our appearance and thanks in advance for your understanding. Other things to note Must be 21 years old and older to book this cabin. No large parties allowed. No smoking cigarettes, e-cigarettes, cigars, recreational drugs or weed in the cabin. If this rule is not followed there will be an additional $700 in addition to the regular cleaning fee to remove the smoke smell with the ozone air purifier. Quiet time is from 10 pm to 7 am (7 days a week). This cabin is located on a residential block. Please be respectful of the neighbors. No check-in or check-out on Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, or New Year’s Day, as our cleaning is spending time with their family. Please remove shoes in the house. Please don’t use the second door that has the door lock taped. The driveway will be shoveled when it snows more than 4 inches. A shovel and snow salt is provided for guest use for the steps. Fire wood is provided for the wood stove/fireplace in the living room, as well as the fire pit in the backyard. Use of the fire pit and wood stove/fireplace is at your own risk. Please watch small children attentively around fires. **Use of the bunk bed is at your own risk. We are not responsible for any incident/injury that occurs while using the bunk bed. The top bunk is only for small children who weigh less than 100lbs.** It is best to stock up on food prior to coming to our cabin in Hunter. Starter Nespresso pods, starter small water bottles, starter toliet paper and paper towels are provided, but if you're staying for an extended period of time, additional supplies can be obtained at the local supermarket. The nearest supermarket to the cabin is Tops Friendly Market located in Tannersville, NY. SUV/4-wheel drive vehicles are highly recommended due to the icy, rainy, snowy weather conditions. The driveway may get muddy or icy depending on the weather conditions. Please gather garbage and leave it tied in the kitchen, as there are wild animals rummaging through the garbage outside. The cleaners will take the garbage with them. Level 2 electric car charging unit is available for use. If you have a Tesla car, please bring your own J1772 Tesla charging adapter. There are 2 motion sensor security cameras, one facing the driveway and the other facing the front entry door to document the number of occupants and it records video and audio, 24/7. No video cameras are inside the house. Please do not use the smaller door (without smart lock) that is taped, as the door does not close well. We are in the process of looking into a replacement door. We appreciate your understanding. Moth balls are located on the high shelves in the closets to rid any bugs. Office hours: 8 am - 8 pm everyday unless an emergency This cabin sleeps 8 guests maximum (including children). Each additional unauthorized guest will be $50/guest). Early check-in (2 pm) and late check out (12 pm) will incur an additional fee of $100, as it would limit the amount of time our cleaning team has to clean the cabin and additional cleaning staff would be necessary to get the cabin ready for the next guests. Our space is located in the woods. Though we treat the exterior to keep out pests including insects and mice, this is a reality of nature. Our space may not be a fit for those who are extremely phobic of these and other wildlife. Winter Road Advisory: Please be advised that the road leading up to Hunter and our driveway may become icy or slippery during the winter months. Guests are encouraged to use vehicles equipped for winter driving, such as SUVs or all-wheel-drive cars. Carrying tire chains is also recommended for added safety and traction. ** No check out on Feb 24, 2026 as there is limited cleaning services on that day. Travel is rewarding, but sometimes things don’t go as expected. People can get sick, flights can get canceled, inclement weather conditions. and bags can go missing. To help protect you, we highly recommend obtaining travel insurance and assistance services, prior you your trip.
