Our very talented Chef prepares meals of the highest standard of quality and flavour. Many guests come with the intention of eating out at the high end restaurants Bali is so well know for, but after experiencing the quality of the in-house chef prepared meals served by your own butler and waiter, they often forgo the visits to other restaurants. Guests are charged a 20% surcharge for groceries and produce and the chef prepares meals from that. The cost saving for meals alone becomes quite significant. We face north so you will not be getting oppressive solar heat from the baking afternoon sun inside your living area, but we still have plenty of all day sun tanning locations including the large cliff edge infinity pool and sunset views from the expansive top floor terrace. Guests invited for Lunch or Dinner: Please Note there can be No More people invited from outside for a Lunch or Dinner than the number of Adults staying at the villa. Late Departures: Checkout is 12 Midday. If The Luxe Bali is booked for a new guests arrival the day of a departure and times of old guest departure and new guest arrival we can store departing guests baggage while guests visit a restaurant, have a short tour locally, or stay in the cliff edge pergola. Late Check out surcharge: If there are no new guests arriving on the day of departure the guest may stay in the villa and use bedroom / bathroom for an extra charge of US$100 an hour for each full hour past 12 midday of day booked to depart as we still have staff wage times and power bills to pay. Late Checkouts Past 11pm will be charged an extra full nights stay. Fireworks Candles and Burning Lanterns are strictly forbidden. Smoking inside the house is strictly forbidden and a significant cleaning charge of US$400 a room will be applied should there be tobacco smoke smell inside any room. You can smoke on outside terraces with the outside doors shut. Please ask for an ashtray. We choose waxed timber floors for your tactile pleasure. Shoes and outside use sandals are forbidden inside the house as we have waxed timber floors. We supply house sandals for inside the villa. High heels inside the house forbidden. Feet, body, and swimwear must be relatively dry before entering the house so no water drips will get on the waxed wooden floors. Wet towels and wet swimwear must be hung above marble floors or in the bathtub if they need a wash, Do Not placed wet items on or over wooden floors. Do not use body oils anywhere near the waxed timber floors , please apply in the bathroom on the marble floor or outside terraces. Butler Service. The Butler is in the villa at your service for most of the day. He is available for emergencies and important requests 24hrs a day. He stays above the upper garage and can be in the villa to assist you in minutes. Please call number 48 to reach him. Ala Carte Breakfast is provided complimentary. If you require a pre 8am Breakfast please arrange with the Butler to organize this with the Chef. It can be arranged. A Very Qualified Chef is at your service free of charge from 8am until 10pm if you have ordered evening meals the day before as they need to shop in the morning for that day’s meal requests. If you have not ordered evening meals the Chef leaves at 5pm. Lunches and Dinners: The Chef can buy ingredients and prepare for you. All purchases are subject to 20% handling fee by the Chef. Invoices will be provided and you can be assured it will be much cheaper and most often more delicious than eating at a restaurant. Espresso - Cappuccino etc. Coffees and Tea's are freely available all day. Drinking water free of charge. We are not a restaurant and have a single chef so please limit the variety of meals per lunch or dinner to a reasonable amount. Dinners are not available for serving after 10PM. The chef needs to be at the market early every morning to buy fresh produce. Massage: 8am to 4pm Massage Service available in the in house Spa at reasonable rates by highly qualified massage staff. Out of these hours massage can be arranged at a surcharge. Car and Drivers are available to be booked at a special rate of USD 50 a day a car for 8 hours use (excluding petrol) 5 to 8 guest would need 2 cars or we can arrange larger / more luxurious cars if required , prices will be determined upon request.
