Snowdrop Cottage is a beautiful Irish cottage set in the heart of the Mourne Mountains with sweeping views of Slieve Donard - Northern Irelands highest peak. The cottage is perfect for a relaxing family getaway sleeping up to 10 people and equipped with a hot tub which overlooks rolling fields and the local sheep. The space Enter Snowdrop cottage and spend the evenings cooking on your large gas stove perfect for family dinners. After dinner curl up on the sofa in front of your open fire or wood-burning stove, play board games or watch the sunset over the Mourne mountains. In the morning awake feeling refreshed and enjoy some time in your hot tub as you watch the local sheep and lambs grazing in the fields, it’s the perfect way to start your day. Perfectly situated for a beach or mountain holiday close to too many attractions. Get lost in the many walks and trails of the Mourne mountains, horse ride on the beach, visit a local traditional Irish pub or explore "Game of Thrones" sites including Riverrun, Winterfell, and the Haunted Forest close by. For those that like to be pampered visit the nearby health spa and steak house at the end of the road. Guest access As a guest of Snowdrop Cottage, the whole cottage is yours including the gardens, as well as your own hot tub which is located in its own space overlooking peaceful fields with floor to ceiling windows and sliding doors to bring the outside in. Other things to note Pets are welcome providing they are well trained. This Cottage is an ideal escape from the cities to self-isolate with internet access for those needing to work from home. The house is also thoroughly disinfected with industrial-grade cleaning products before guests arrive. Hot tub: Please note that if the hot tub is the main reason for your stay we advise you to book a min of 2 nights as it requires up to 8 hours to heat up after it is cleaned. It is cleaned after every guests.
