Charming House Mykonos Platy Gialos

A charming house built in the '60s, recently renovated, into a tastefully simple yet modern vacation house. You can enjoy the independence of staying in a house, while being close to the town & beaches. The house is located between Platy Gialos beach (50 meters) and famous Psarou beach (100 meters). In 50 meters is the bus stop, which gets you to the town of Mykonos in 10 minutes, about 3,5 km. From Platy Gialos beach you can take a small boat to get in a lot of other popular beaches as Paradise The space This is a charming house for 5-6 people to have a great vacation!. It is on the main street of Platy Gialos, walking towards the beach. Entering from the street through a small gate, you are found in a traditional "avli" or courtyard, with a bougainvillia, an olive tree and a terrace for breakfast and alfresco dining. From the terrace, which is a few steps up from the "avli", one entrance leads you to a simple & fully equipped kitchen in the whitewashed island style. The kitchen has a stove, coffee maker etc. as well as a separate room with the washing machine. The kitchen window at the front allows you to pass the plates directly to the terrace, when preparing the table. The main entrance leads to the living room with 2 sofa beds (chest divans), dining table and chairs, a nice quiet space when you feel more like staying inside, playing cards or table games. A small hallway leads to the living/sleeping quarters, with 2 bedrooms and a tiled bathroom wth shower. The main bedroom has a double bed and the other bedroom has 2 single beds, all complete with storage space for clothes. The house is airconditioned, one bedroom has a ceiling fan, in case it gets too warm, although the island breeze or "meltemi" usually keeps the air cool. There is also an outdoor shower at the back of the house, for when you come home from the sea. Guest access Dearest Guest, To help prevent the spread of Covid-19 and safeguard your health and wellbeing during your stay, we have put in place strict cleaning procedures based on the recommendations of CDC. House is thoroughly ventilated prior to cleaning and our cleaning staff wear disposable, protective gear throughout their presence in the house. We extensively use certified disinfectants in all areas of the house including sofas, rugs, drapes, and other soft, porous surfaces. All linens (bed sheets, mattress covers, hand, bath, kitchen towels and blankets) are washed at the highest possible heat setting. All cleaning cloths and reusable cleaning products are disinfected, and kitchen washing sponges and soft cloths are substituted with new ones in every check in. The air conditioning filters are cleaned with soap before each arrival at home. We strongly urge our guests to use all disincentive materials available in the house (disinfectant spray, hand gel, bath gel, paper tissues). Although the virus is degraded by heat and the sun, thank you for taking all the necessary precautions for the virus to spread. Don't forget to wash your hands often, not to touch your face and keep the safety distance of 2 meters between all people around you! Enjoy your stay and keep safe for you and your beloved!!! Very Important information: I inform you that for your transfer, from the airport or the port of Mykonos with your luggage’s, up the house, (and the opposite), you will need to book a taxi. The cost of the taxi (carrier) is from 25 to 40 € depending the number of people and luggage’s. Please let me know as soon as possible before your arrival in Mykonos how many people you are coming together, in order to book a taxi (carrier), on your behalf, because is very difficult to find a taxi in this period of time.
