In the heart of Sauerland, a stone's throw away from Winterberg and Willingen, is Elpe Apartments Hochsauerland. Are you dreaming along? On the outskirts of a small authentic village are our lodges, surrounded by endless forests. Through our large garden flows our own mountain stream the Dormecke with several waterfalls. From every apartment and house, you have a view of the garden and you can hear the water rustling and the birds whistling. You can't get any closer to nature! Our garden is directly adjacent to the forest where various hiking trails start, you can walk right into it! And who knows, you might spot a deer... But despite the tranquility, all the attractions of Sauerland are nearby! Winterberg with its cozy center, large ski area, climbing forest, toboggan run and many amenities is a fifteen-minute drive away. But other major attractions such as Fort Fun amusement park, the Ramsbeck Visitors Mine and Bruchhauser Steine are also nearby. Various hiking, cycling, car and mountain bike routes are plotted directly around the village. The apartment is entirely for the guest. In the basement, there is another storage room for sports equipment (bicycles, ski equipment, etc.) and a washing machine and dryer are available. There is also a foosball table here. Our caretaker Nynke and/or Michael will welcome you and provide you with info and tips about the area. They are always available for guests. In addition, you are always welcome to ask me questions and tips! Elpe is a small quiet village in the heart of Hochsauerland. From the village, you can walk into the endless forests and not notice the hustle and bustle that it can sometimes be here. But the main towns (Winterberg, Olsberg (both 10 min.), Willingen (15 min.)) are very easy to reach, and the main attractions of Sauerland are practically around the corner, such as Fort Fun, mines of Ramsbeck, Bruchhauser Steine, various ski areas, climbing forest, toboggan run, etc. We have our own parking lot right in front of the house. A bus stops in the village, but it runs a few times a day. The nearest station is Siedlinghausen (3km) Guest access The apartment is entirely for the guest. Other things to note Bed linen can be booked as an additional option for €9 per bed. If you bring your own bedding, there are of course mattresses (80/90*200cm), blankets (140*200cm) and pillows available. Towels are not for rent, you need to bring them yourself. The apartment is on a self-service basis. We will help you with a starter package including some dishwasher tabs, toilet roll, coffee filter, dishwashing liquid and brush, some garbage bags, dish towels and a set of kitchen linen. For those who need more, you should bring it yourself. Dogs are welcome, extra charge €20 per stay per dog. Unfortunately, in the case of multiple dogs, only one dog will be charged in Airbnb's price calculation. If you bring a 2nd dog, we ask you to pay the €20 extra in cash upon arrival. Dogs are not allowed on the couches and beds. Elpe is a fantastic place for nature lovers and peace seekers. Here you can hear the birds chirping, the water flowing and the wind rustling through the trees. Pure nature. To allow all our guests to enjoy this unique experience, we ask you to respect the environment and each other. That's why we've drawn up the following rules: - Make sure you do not cause a nuisance to our other guests and neighbors. - From 8 p.m. we ask everyone to be quiet outside - Between 10 p.m. and 8 a.m. there is a night's rest, then it should be quiet outside - Would you like to make it later? Then go inside, close the windows and make sure the music is soft or off. - Outside in the garden, music is not allowed. - Soft music is allowed indoors
