According to history, this was the landing site of the Portuguese discoverers and the first settlement on the island. The Quinta is well located about 250 meters from the center of the parish, about 200 meters from the mini-market and 500 meters from the Quatro Ribeiras bathing area, commonly known as the Quatro Ribeiras Natural Pools. About 5 km away, you can also find the famous natural pools of Freguesia dos Biscoitos.
