We recommend the excursion to the Barranc d'Algendar. The Barranc d'Algendar is the largest and most important ravine in Minorca and runs from Ferrerias to the beach of Cala Galdana. This ravine has spectacular vertical walls, which in some points of the ravine are more than 80 metres high. The peculiarity of this ravine is the presence of water all year round, including the summer season. In fact, the whole ravine has been formed thanks to the erosion of the river of water that runs along the bottom.
