Easily accessible are also the Upper Engadine (St. Moritz-Pontresina), the Veltlin (wine production), Livigno (duty-free zone) and the Bernina Bahn UNESCO. You will find pure peace and quiet in our Maiensäss. Arrival: • By car: drive directly to the house, parking is sufficiently available. During the winter months we recommend the use of a four-wheel drive vehicle, as the road conditions may vary depending on snow conditions. If there is a lot of snow, the car must be parked on the main route (parking is available, footpath about 100 m to the house). • On foot: For nature lovers, an approx. 25-minute hike from Poschiavo is available. Enjoy the fresh mountain air and the picturesque countryside. Amenities include: • Completely renovated: The house was comprehensively modernized at the end of 2024 and shines in new splendor. From the modern kitchen to the cozy bedrooms to the spacious bathroom, you'll find everything you need for a comfortable stay. • Sustainable and energy efficient: Thanks to a powerful solar system (17.6 kWp) on the roof, you are independent of the public power grid. The stored energy (42 kWh) reliably supplies the house with electricity. If there is a bottleneck, an emergency power unit is available. • Electric car charging station: Electric car drivers will also get their money's worth from us. Charge your vehicle directly at the house and enjoy the advantages of electromobility. Please note that charging (Type 2) is only possible in sunshine and up to a capacity of 11 kW (price CHF 0.65/kWh). • The house is not completely fenced and the outdoor area is partly video-monitored. Further amenities: • Three cozy bedrooms: Each bedroom has its own wood-burning stove for warmth on cold days. • Spacious living areas: The bright living area with fireplace invites you to linger. The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need to cook and enjoy. • Two bathrooms: A large bathroom with bath and shower as well as an additional bathroom with shower in the basement offer the highest comfort.
