The historic house is 300 years old and the Duke of Monmouth resided here during the Monmouth Rebellion. Not suitable for very young children. A house of historic importance, the current owners have beautifully restored the property to its former splendour, retaining a wealth of character features including window seats, fireplaces and wood panelling. The interior is a lovely, stylish mix of modern and vintage decor and high quality furnishings which compliment wonderfully the original character and charm. A fantastic property, with its central location allowing you to enjoy all that this traditional seaside town has to offer. Can guests be aware that there other apartments at Monmouth house so noise must be kept to a minimum between 10pm and 8am. Disruptive guests will be asked to leave. There should be no visitors after 10pm to Monmouth House. Accessibility The property is on the 2nd floor with stairs throughout which may not be accessible for guests with mobility issues MSPA Hot tub available on request subject to availability. Must be booked at least 2 days in advance of arrival. £50 charge. Children’s aged 10yrs + are welcome we will allow younger children on request during school holidays.
