Located in the village of Exo Gonia, this suite, was one of the many rural cave houses (man-made caverns, chambers carved into the pumice rock), referred to as “typical iposkafa” settlement of Santorini. These traditional dwellings have been long-used for their energy efficiency and ventilation properties. The earth keeps the rooms naturally warm in winter and cool in summer, just as in a cave.
