Lamb's Knees is a luxury Victorian seaside holiday home, built in 1863 and set within flint walled gardens. Offering enchanting, spacious accommodation it is perfectly situated less than a one minute walk from local shops & restaurants, four minutes walk to the beach and 10 minutes walk from the South Downs National Park, with its spectacular, iconic, coastal & forest walks. Ideal for couples, friends or families seeking a sophisticated bolt-hole by the sea. The space Lamb's Knees offers characterful and fabulously spacious accommodation over three floors. On the ground floor the dining room features an antique oak table where you can dine under a spectacular chandelier, afterwards retire to the spacious living room with a board game or relax with a film from our DVD collection or browse our local guides and maps for inspiration for walks and places to visit. Perhaps snuggle up in our cozy 'Snug,' with a hot chocolate in front of the Italian wood burning stove. The Snug leads into the oak kitchen fitted with modern appliances including a Nespresso coffee maker. The kitchen overlooks the flint walled garden which is a beautiful sun trap where you can relax with a Sussex cream tea whilst listening to the sound of the waves. On the first floor there are three bedrooms. The Master bedroom offers a restful retreat featuring: a Simon Horn king-size cherrywood 'Empire' bed, seating area with damson velvet cupid settee, dressing area with bespoke copper clothes rail & cheval mirror. The double bedroom is a particularly sunny, peaceful room with an antique French Empire mahogany double bed inlaid with marquetry. The twin room is a delightful room, overlooking the flint walled garden, offering an adult sized White Company bunk bed complete with Hypnos mattresses. The bathroom and additional toilet are also on this floor. The third floor offers a magnificent playroom accessed via a secret staircase. It is filled with a treasure trove of toys & games keeping the little ones entertained whilst you relax. Lamb's Knees is exceptionally well kitted for babies & children with Stokke wooden cot, John Lewis rocking cot, travel cots, high chair, plastic ware, sterilizer, Little Life hiking child carrier, baby bath, changing station, stair-gates, bed guards, night lights & Baby Monitor.
