Jacobs Pond, Monksilver

Jacobs Pond is a semi-detached cottage set in a peaceful, rural location with stunning views towards the Quantock and Brendon Hills and Exmoor, sleeping up to 7 guests (plus cot) across four bedrooms. Downstairs comprises a sitting room with wood-burning fire, dining room, conservatory with French doors leading into the garden, kitchen, a double bedroom and a bathroom with shower, toilet and hand basin. The space Upstairs are three further bedrooms, one double, one single and one with bunk-beds, along with a family bathroom with shower over the bath, toilet and hand basin. The kitchen is fitted with a dishwasher, washing machine, fridge/freezer, microwave and electric oven with hob, along with a toaster, kettle and all necessary cookware, utensils, cutlery, crockery and glasses. A television and DVD player are provided in the sitting room, with wireless broadband throughout. Electricity and central heating are included in the price, and a basket of logs and kindling is provided for the wood-burner. Bed linen and towels are supplied, though guests are asked to bring their own beach towels for day trips; bed linen is not provided for the cot. A small welcome supply of tea, coffee, sugar, milk and biscuits, along with basic cleaning materials and toilet roll, is provided. A travel cot and high chair can be arranged on request. Outside, an enclosed garden to the rear is accessed via the conservatory, with a patio area featuring table and chairs plus a further seating area with barbecue. Off-road parking for two cars is available on the drive at the front of the property. Jacobs Pond is suitable for children but not suitable for wheelchair users, though it may suit guests with restricted mobility. Sorry, no dogs or other pets are accepted. The property is strictly non-smoking. Smoke and carbon-monoxide detectors are fitted for safety. At Christmas, the property will be decorated for the festive season. Check-in is from 4 pm and check-out by 10 am.
