Since 1723, the Gasthof Benke in Freiheit Horneburg has been a place where people come together. Today, the listed building offers over 300 m² of space for up to 21 guests: 8 bedrooms, a large professional kitchen for cooking together, long tables, a piano lounge and a garden of over 1,000 m² with a swimming pond, a wood-fired sauna and a hammock. Ideal for family reunions, groups of friends and teams. The space A house with history – made for community The old Gasthof Benke has been an inn and farm since 1723. Many original pieces of furniture, the old bar back counter and the large dining tables still bear witness to this today. The listed house offers over 300 m² of living space, and everything is designed for groups. Here, people cook together, linger over long meals and sing at the piano. Sleeping There are 18 sleeping places in 8 bedrooms, ranging from single beds to king-size beds. 7 rooms are on the 2nd floor, and there is one barrier-free room on the ground floor. We attach great importance to good sleep: high-quality mattresses (including Emma and Bodyguard), comfortable bed linens and really good pillows. The kitchen: the heart of the house The very large kitchen is designed for cooking together and is well equipped with high-quality appliances and utensils in abundance: 120 cm gas stove and electric oven Sharp knives, pots and pans for large groups Large dishwasher for 32 standard place settings Moccamaster filter coffee maker and high-quality kettle Waffle iron and raclette grill with 10 pans And the little things that make the difference, right down to the special salad spinner Living & spending time together Piano lounge, historic bar back buffet and large dining tables: There is room for everyone at one table here.
