The Old Bushmills Barn, Causeway Coast

Dating back to 1745, The Old Bushmills Barn is an award-winning restored property in the heart of Bushmills on the Causeway Coast. Sleeping 8 across four en-suite bedrooms, the Barn features a spectacular six-metre-high living space, private garden, sauna, tennis court and sun-filled patio. Just a short walk from the centre of Bushmills and its famous distillery, with the Giant’s Causeway, Dunluce Castle, beaches and Royal Portrush all just minutes away. The space The Old Bushmills Barn dates back to 1745 and is grade II listed. During the covid pandemic a group of local craftsmen, along with host Jasper, meticulously restored this ancient property into a remarkable headquarters for visitors to the area. With careful planning and design the space was maximised to create four en-suite bedrooms, a six meter high open plan living & dining area, two lounge areas, a balcony, a landscaped garden, a car park and a sun trap patio with state of the art outside cooking facilities. Recently - a hot tub and sauna have also been installed! With the Barn being just a short 5 minute walk to Restaurants, Supermarkets, Cafes and Pubs in Bushmills it gives guests an authentic experience of what it’s like to live in the centre of Bushmills. It is roughly a 10 minute walk to the oldest distillery in the world - Bushmills Distillery. By car it is less than a 2 Minute drive to the beach, 5 minutes to the Giants Causeway, 5 minutes to Dunluce Castle and 6 minutes to Portrush. All bedrooms have bathrooms, TVs, wifi, toiletries, towels, hairdryers, clothes storage and USB charging ports. The kitchen is fully equipped and basics such as salt, pepper and olive oil are provided. Each arrival receives a bottle of bubbles, a fruit bowl and flowers. A outdoor sauna is free to use throughout your stay. Guest access Guests have their own private garden and private off road car park. There is a patio which gets full afternoon and evening sun. A great area for hanging out on a summers day and having a BBQ. Guests also have access to a sauna, hot tub, a private tour guide, airport shuttle runs and a yoga teacher. Other things to note The Barn is on the grounds of The Old Rectory. A grade A listed Georgian manor. The odd time Toby the dog comes and says hello.
