Its terrace and pergola open to uninterrupted views of the antique Italian garden, but trees and hedges hide the gardens from sight, so you’ll feel like the only one for miles as you sink into the pool, or prepare a meal at the al-fresco barbecue. Though Villa Gianna still has its classic tiled roof, stone walls and floors, beamed ceilings, and wide hearth, its furnishings bring the villa comfortably into the modern age. Large bedrooms invite you to linger in while overlooking the charming garden, the dining table has seating for six and there’s even a central counter for amazing cooking classes in the fully equipped spacious kitchen.
