The Gothic quarter is the heart of ancient Barcelona, ​​the medieval city built on top of Roman foundations. It is the starting point for any tourist and here one can get lost for hours and days. The narrow pedestrian streets and charming squares have lots of character and are home to hundreds of shops, bars and restaurants. It is located between the famous Ramblas and Vía Layetana, with Plaça Catalunya above and the port below. Portal del Ángel is a shopping street that begins at Plaça Catalunya, leads to Plaça de la Catedral, passing through the Roman wall that once limited the city and continuing along Calle del Bisbe we reach Plaça Santa Jaume, where the political center, City Council and Generalitat. The apartment has a device that controls the decibel levels and in case we have to move to the apartment due to excessive noise, guests will have to pay a penalty of 100 euros.
