It features weatherboard construction and original timber flooring with both open and slow combustion fireplaces. It is surrounded by both rainforest and garden with large established oak and plane trees. The seclusion will help you unwind from the daily stresses or relax after a day exploring the mountains, canyons and garden. Gowan Ross Cottage is situated on the rural property known as Gowan Ross, which is halfway between Mt Wilson and Mt Irvine. It is one of Mt Wilson's few remaining working properties and is home to the only permanent residents with young children in Mt Wilson. It has a number of fruiting chestnut and walnut trees as well as raspberry and blueberry bushes. Is boasts 40acres of combined rainforest, garden and pasture and is home to a small number of Devon cattle. There are a number of hiking tracks close by with spectacular views over the Wollangambe river. * Please note that only registered guest numbers are allowed at the property. Sorry NO Pets allowed.
