The surrounding landscape is absolutely stunning year-round. Sestriere has a lot to offer. In winter, the slopes surrounding the resort are ideal for skiers and snowboarders of all levels. There is cross-country skiing, heliskiing, ice skating, motor sledding, dog sledding, and snowshoeing. There is even an outdoor (heated) pool open in winter and summer. Our guests can purchase ski passes for the ViaLattea ski resort directly from our Happy.Rentals office in Sestriere. During the summer months, the Borgata di Grangesises and its surroundings offer visitors a rich program of entertainment and cultural and sporting events for adults and children. There are sports days and fitness weekends with certified personal trainers. The location of the Grange Hike & Ski apartments is ideal for those looking for wild and unspoiled nature. The neighboring valleys, such as Argentera and Vallone di Thuras, offer a network of trails with varying degrees of difficulty, and it is possible to organize guided outings with environmental hiking guides upon reservation. There are also numerous routes in the area for mountain bikers and downhill enthusiasts of all levels. Our guests can benefit from discounts at e-bike and bodybuilding rental stores. Nearby Sestriere offers an internationally renowned golf course (18 holes, par 65), a swimming pool and tennis courts. For the summer of 2023, the stages of the world trial and enduro motorcycle championships are scheduled for the end of July, and in the first week of August the important international athletics meeting and the Sestriere film festival. History buffs shouldn't miss the recreation of the Battle of Assietta in July and guided tours of the Fenestrelle Fortress and the Chaberton Museum in Claviere. In Grangesises and Sestriere there are many excellent restaurants and bars for all tastes and budgets.
