Surrounded by nature and many hiking trails, it is the ideal starting point to discover the beauty of the Eifel with its numerous sights. The bungalow is located above the fountain town of Gerolstein in an excellent location on the outskirts of town. From the holiday home you have a great view of the Dolomite rocks. The cliffs are deposits of a sea that covered the Gerolsteiner Land 380 million years ago. Next to the nearby forest with access to the Eifelsteig is a riding stable and a sports bar that invites you to play bowling, tennis and badminton. The castle ruin Löwenburg is in walking distance. The castle was destroyed in 1691. An 11 high shield wall still reminds us of the medieval castle. The castle ruin is accessible all year round and offers a magnificent view over Gerolstein. Other highlights include the Pelmer Kasselburg. There is a very well preserved castle there with birds of prey and wolves. In the Wildlife and Adventure Park Daun there is the possibility to cross an 8-kilometre-long safari tour with your own car. A large playground for children and a 6-hectare monkey enclosure are also part of the park. You can find further recommendations in our digital guidebook. Guest access The property can be opened via Smart-Lock. There is a keypad on our front door. You will receive a personalized code via email three days before your upcoming stay. You can enter the property at any time during your stay using these credentials.
