Villa Lorizon is a unique style and charming villa of 240 qm² in Rodrigues, 1 hr to Mauritius; The Villa has magnificent Views on the ocean and is only 8 min from the beautiful beaches of Graviers;Lorizon comes with a private pool,A/C, fast wifi,a chimney for cosy evenings,long chairs,Alexa,Siri. The space Charming villa of 240 sqm for rent in Rodrigues, Mauritius' neighboring island, with beautiful views, only 8 minutes from the coast, with private pool, fireplace, maid and cook. We rent the villa for 2 - 4 people for your comfort, it has more beds for 4 more children/teenagers. The name says it all: a beautiful view of the horizon and sunrise. Lorizon is located on the east of Rodrigues Island, 1 hour flight from Mauritius. It is built in a typical style, with fresh colors, modern furnishings, quiet and comfortable, for nature lovers. In just 8 minutes you are on the most beautiful beaches of the island. We recommend a car or scooter. The house is rented for 2 people + 2 teenagers in the mezzanine in the main house and 2 - 4 more guests in a separate house (called maisonette) on the same property. Please refer to the description of the bedrooms as they are not all of the same standard. It has a private pool and a fireplace that you can also use for a BBQ, plus an outside barbeque. The garden is large and fenced. Important: The villa has no special safety device for children. The pool and terrace are not fenced . Children (we have children ourselves) are welcome under your own responsibility. We have had several families as guests; this is only a note as precautionary measure. Lorizon is located in trois Soleils (3 suns), 5-10 minutes by car from the beaches of Fumier, Gravier and St.Francois. The villa is surrounded by nature, goyaves, mango trees, cows… The view is beautiful, it's quiet. The nearest small shop is 5 minutes by car and the nearest larger village, Mont Lubin, is about 8 minutes by car. A maid is available 6 times a week except public holidays. She cleans, makes the beds, laundry and irons. Ken our caretaker will cook a local menu for rs500 when you do the shopping. He organizes fresh fish and crayfish depending on the weather, as well as boat tours, fishing in the lagoon, etc. Rooms : 1) It has 1 master bedroom with air conditioning, a four poster bed 2m x 1.80m with views of the pastures, sea, pool and fireplace; Large bathroom with shower, toilet, bidet and walk-in closet. Enjoy the sunrise from bed (at 5:30am !) In the same room there is a mezzanine that serves as a small office 2) Above the entrance/kitchen/extra shower/toilet is a small mezzanine with a king size bed 2m x 1.80m (not for children under 8 y). 3) Separately on the same property, about 20 meters from the main house, is the maisonette that consists of a single room with air conditioning. As in the main house, there is a small mezzanine above the entrance/kitchen corner/shower/toilet with a king-size bed 2 mx 1.80 m. (not for children under 8 y). Shower/toilet. There is also a king-size bed downstairs. The kitchenette has a microwave and a kettle. Please note that the sleeping arrangements are not equivalent and may not be suitable for multiple couples. If you use the main house only, the maisonette will stay closed and will not be rented separately, so that you can enjoy the tranquility of the entire property. In Rodrigues it is recommended to live like the locals: going to bed with the sun, waking up with the sun (and the music from the valley :) ). You will enjoy unbelievable moments! Guest access the entire property is yours! If you use the main house only, the second house will stay close and won't be rented to anyone else during your stay. The garden is large with many coconut trees. Ken will cut them and prepare for you. Other things to note The maid and Ken work 6x/week. Meals are not provided, but KEN can cook your groceries/shopping. Preparation costs 500 roupies each time. Enjoy the specialties! Midou does the laundry. Also the guests' laundry, provide the soap.
