The space PLACE AND SURRONDINGS: The Torre Verda mansion is a hidden pearl in the middle of Caldes d’Estrac only 35 km North of Barcelona in the Maresme. Its medieval tower (built in 1549 against Ottoman pirates) surrounded by poetic gardens with panoramic views over the sea, make it a unique historic and nature retreat embedded in local lifestyle. It is just next to the Caldetas hot springs which are a great winter treat for relaxation and health and less than 10 min walk to the famous Paseo de los Ingleses which is a long, clean sandy beach with lots of chiringitos (local bars and restaurants) offering activities all year round. The local market with natural products is just below the house and the train station is 5 min walking distance. Your holiday at the villa includes access to the private lounge area on the terrace next to a pool and a beautiful Mediterranean garden with lemon and olive trees. Here you can enjoy barbeques, drinks and sport activities with family or friends making it the perfect gate into a relaxed time next to the sea. The main entrance opens into a wonderful hall from where you have access to stairs taking you to the different levels of the mansion. On the first floor you can find 3 beautiful rooms and two bathrooms: - 1 large room with an ensuite bathroom and large wardrobe with private access to a wonderful terrace and views over the sea. You can touch the medieval tower from here!!! (1 extra bed or crib can be added). - 2 double rooms, 1 with access to the terrace and the other with a big window. These 2 rooms share a bathroom. On the second floor, you will find: - another ensuite room with a large bathroom and a double bed (that can be converted into twin beds). - 3 more double rooms with 2 shared bathrooms (1 extra bed or crib can be added). - a laundry-ironing room, a washing machine and plenty of wardrobes. Downstairs, the central living area has a dining room, a cozy fire place with sofas, and a reading space with views over the garden and the sea. The kitchen is fully equipped and has a fridge and a freezer, a pantry area, a dish washer and independent entrance. Your holiday at the Torre Verda includes access to the private terrace overlooking the garden which has a big table and chairs. The medieval tower next to the main house is only open upon special request.
