In the heart of the historic Friedrichstadt Old Town is this jewel box from 1698. Today, the Friedrichstadtnixe invites you to visit her in this bright and friendly house. Where mermaids live, the water is not far away. Surrounded by the Treene and Eider rivers and canals and not far from the North Sea beaches, all possibilities are open to water lovers. It is only a few steps to the cafes, restaurants, heart-blood-run shops, galleries and museums. The space This light-flooded house impresses with its original antique building elements: terrazzo floor, partly historical planks, open beams and bricks. The kitchen - which is a handmade carpentry work -, coffered doors, plank flooring, a double door and chairs from a church, marble plaster in the bedroom and selected furniture underline the charm of the gem. From the hallway, you enter the living room on the left with the dining room behind it. This is connected to the kitchen via an ocher-red pass-through. Behind the hand-carved, fully equipped kitchen is a connecting hallway, in which - hidden by a curtain - there is a washing machine and the wing dryer. The hallway leads to the inner courtyard, which is sunny in the afternoon, behind which the sauna is located. At the end of the hallway is the bathroom with shower. And back to the hallway of the house: From here, you go up the stairs to a large bedroom with a 1.60 m golden double bed. Clothes can be stored in a noble hanging wardrobe and an artist's chest of drawers. Adjacent to the large bedroom is a tiny, low chamber that can be closed by a light door, and in which a fifth person can sleep in a 90 cm wide bed. Next to the large bedroom is a small bedroom, which is almost completely filled by a 1.40 m large, noble bed and in which there is a second TV. However, this "only" has antenna reception, which means that the private channels cannot be seen. There is also another wardrobe and an artist's chest of drawers. The room is ideal for cuddling, dreaming, resting, reading, watching TV. Fine reading is distributed in the hallway and in the house and in the dresser in the upper hallway there is a small selection of beautiful board games. Guest access This is a detached cottage with a cozy courtyard and sauna. Of course, our guests have access to everything and "may" use everything. It is not a terraced house in the classic sense. The houses in Friedrichstadt are often built wall to wall, so perhaps the term "terraced house" is most appropriate. In the courtyard, guests are undisturbed. There is no adjoining garden, at least none that would be visible.
