An old village house, restored with all amenities. With lots of light, large outdoor spaces and a swimming pool in summer - ideal for families and for those who enjoy nature and silence. The house is located in a typical Trás-os-Montes village - close to the Spanish border - 5.5 km from the city of Miranda do Douro. The Douro River is very close, within walking distance. People are still truly genuine. The space The house overlooks the village and consists of: On the ground floor - large common areas, a large living room with fireplace and seating areas with sofas and TV, a reading and games room with TV, equipped kitchen, dining room and two bedrooms communicating with bathroom. On the first floor - six en-suite bedrooms with private bathroom and air conditioning. Outside, large spaces, seating areas and a swimming pool in the summer. Guest access The guest has autonomous access to all areas (suite rooms, living rooms, kitchen, swimming pool, outdoor areas) (Access to washing machine upon request) In summer - employees access the house whenever necessary for maintenance of outdoor spaces, watering and cleaning of the pool. Other things to note Casa dos Edras meets all requirements, procedures, cleaning and sanitation. Following the current pandemic framework and in order to minimize employee contact with washed / dirty clothes - we inform you that bed and bath linens are provided properly sanitized, and the guest is the one who handles them, namely their placement in the beds / bathrooms. It is mandatory to remove the bed / bath linens at the end of the stay and place them in the indicated place (all according to the indications in the house). In case of failure of the mobile network and internet / wifi services, these are due to the poor coverage by the contracted services, due to being a border area. For the above reason, the internet and wifi service is a service offered by the house - it is not included in the price of the stay - any failure related to this service is not attributable to us. In summer, any activity related to fire, namely barbecues outside, is totally prohibited by civil protection entities. The House is 5.5 km from the city of Miranda do Douro where you can find: Public transportation, Restaurants, Supermarkets, Shops, Pharmacy, Health Center, Local crafts, Other services, - Very close is neighboring Spain, we propose a day trip to the city of Zamora. The village is located in the Douro International Natural Park, so we advise outdoor walks - you will find free bicycles and other utensils for this purpose in the house.
