An old village house, restored with all the amenities. With plenty of light, ample outdoor spaces and swimming pool in summer - ideal for families and for those who like nature and silence. The house is located in a typical Transmontana village - near the border with Spain - 5.5 km from the city of Miranda do Douro. The Douro River is very close, a short walk away. People are still truly genuine. The space The House has views of the village and consists of: On the ground floor - large common areas, a large living room with fireplace and living areas with sofas and tv, a reading room and games with tv, equipped kitchen, dining room and two connecting bedrooms with bathroom. On the first floor - six suite bedrooms with private bathroom and air conditioning. Outside, spacious spaces, seating areas and swimming pool in summer. Guest access Guest has access to all areas autonomously (suite rooms, living rooms, kitchen, swimming pool, outdoor areas) (Access to washing machine upon request) In summer - employees access the house whenever necessary for outdoor space maintenance, watering and pool cleaning. Other things to note Casa dos Edras meets all requirements, procedures, cleaning and sanitation. Following the current pandemic framework and in order to minimize contacts of employees with washed/dirty linens - please be advised that bed and bath linens are provided properly sanitized, and the guest handles them, namely their placement in the beds / bathrooms.It is mandatory to remove the bed / bath linens at the end of the stay and their placement in the indicated place (all according to the indications in the house). In case of failure of cellular and internet / wifi network services, these are due to poor coverage by the contracted services, due to being a border area. For the above reason, the internet and wifi service is a service offered by the house - it is not included in the value of the stay - any failure relating to this service is not attributable to us. In the summer, any fire-related activity, including barbecues abroad, is completely prohibited by civil protection entities. The House is 5.5 km from the city of Miranda do Douro where you can find: Public transport, Restaurants, Supermarkets, Commerce, Pharmacy, Health Department, Local Crafts, Other Services, - Very close is neighboring Spain, we propose a day of sightseeing to the city of Zamora. The village is inserted in the Douro International Natural Park, so we advise outdoor tours - you will find free bicycles and other utensils for this purpose in the house.
