Come stay in our beautiful and serene waterfront apartment with gorgeous sunsets and bright open layout. Fall asleep to the sound of the waves of Narragansett Bay just minutes from Providence in this magical treetop home. Close to the East Bay bike path, Borealis coffee shop, Sabin Point Park and the Riverside carousel. Description of the layout: This beautiful apartment occupies the top two floors of this waterfront home. The first floor of the space is all open and contains the kitchen, dining and living rooms which leads into a deck overlooking the water. There is a full bath with tub on that floor. Then there are steps that are a little steep (was originally up to the attic in 1880) which go to the top floor where there are the two bedrooms each with queen beds- one on the water side and one street side. There is a half-bath on that floor. There is no cable TV but there is a projector connected to the internet for watching Netflix on the big screen. The neighborhood is quiet and residential. You’ll have the whole apartment and deck to yourself. It is 4 staircases from the back deck to get down to the beach where you are welcome to walk. Riverside is located 10 minutes from India Point Park in Providence, 15 minutes from downtown Providence and 20 minutes from Bristol, Rhode Island. While the bay is cleaner than it's been in over 100 years and I have been known to swim on our beach when the water is cold, during the summer the water is a bit murky, being so close to the city. If you are looking for a summertime swimming vacation this may not be the spot for you. **Please note: there is construction going on on Washington Bridge crossing route 195 from East Providence to the western side of Rhode Island and there is increased traffic during rush hour. For guests that stay more than a week please note I will need to come in once a week to water the plants, at a time that is convenient for you.
