Ideally, this charming little eco-friendly wooden house type F3, about 50 m2 habitable, is perfect for 2 to 4 people but can accommodate up to 5 people maximum. Electricity is mainly supplied by solar energy. If necessary, there is a generator that would come to the rescue to recharge the batteries in case of load shedding. The advantage is that we never have a power outage. Once you arrive at Robert, continue towards Trinité/Ste Marie. Arriving at the last roundabout, head towards Trinité then immediately to the right, follow the sign "Presqu'ile de la Caravelle", continue straight ahead. Once in the village, follow the road until you pass a hotel on your left, there will be a succession of turns and at the end of the last turn, turn right onto an asphalt road that goes up. Follow the road until you see mailboxes on the left hand side. Take this paved forest path for about 400 m, and at the end you will arrive at an automatic gate allowing access to our property. Other things to note The Caravelle Peninsula is a peninsula of Martinique located on the Atlantic coast, in Tartane. With a length of 12 km, its highest point is the Morne Pavillon, with a height of 189 m. From a geological point of view, it constitutes the oldest part of Martinique, along with the Sainte-Anne region. Characterized by sugar cane fields, it contains at its end the National Nature Reserve of the Caravelle Peninsula, with an area of 400 hectares. The Caravelle Hikes: Two well-marked paths (for the small one, allow 1.5 hours, for the large one, allow 3.5 hours) allow you to discover the magnificent landscapes of the peninsula, the mangrove of the Baie du Trésor, the ruins of the Château Dubuc, the lighthouse of La Caravelle, the peaceful beauty of the southern coves contrasting with the savagery of the waves to the north, as well as the many birds (some of which are endemic to Martinique) that have taken up residence in the park.
