This unit does not have AC. Also, we are a SMOKE FREE complex, as are most public hotels on St Croix. This is a completely remodeled large one bedroom unit in our small gated 6 unit complex know as Caribbean Breeze Apartments and Vacation Homes. Accessed by private entrance on 2nd floor with private patio. All new kitchen, bathroom & tile. Beautiful antique King Mahogany 4 poster bed. We also have a new queen Murphy Bed in this unit. Sleeps 4 comfortably..but only has 1 bathroom IN the bedroom The space Fully furnished apartment in safe, gated, locked courtyard. Brand new kitchen, bathroom and tile throughout. This unit is located on the second floor, has a private entrance and private patio. It is the most secluded unit on property, with no other unit sharing the entrance or attached patio. It also has a very unique bathroom located inside a brick chimney. Because of this special feature, THE WATER PRESSURE MAY SEEM LOW to you in the shower. NO AC in this unit..Also, Please note that since this unit is on the second floor, it sits above our courtyard stone wall. We are right in town, and there is noise from the streets on the weekends at times, ESPECIALLY during Christmas Festival. Huge shared courtyard with swimming pool and BBQ area. Outdoor shower, scuba gear rinse off area, and very tropical setting. We have 5 other units all located on this property, from studios to one bedrooms. Please be sure to look at our other listings if you are traveling with a group, or need dates that are not available in this unit. If you instant book this unit and then complain about the low water pressure in the shower, or no AC, please don't expect us to compensate anything for you. We have 4 other units available with AC and high water pressure in the shower. So if you think this might be an issue, PLEASE choose a different unit. Guest access We have bicycles available for a small fee. Free use of beach gear, on a 1st come basis. Swimming pool is open 24 hours, but please be aware of other guests and keep the noise levels down between 11pm and 8am Other things to note We are open air units and noise travels..no glass windows, only wood shutters and screens. There are wild roosters all over the island..our property has them as well as laying hens I keep. Pets are allowed on a case-by-case basis with an additional non-refundable pet fee of $250 due upon check-in. If you book with us and bring a pet, we have a STRICT no barking policy. If your pet is a barker, we are not a good fit. If you say your pet doesn't bark, and you arrive with a pet that barks, we will IMMEDIATELY cancel your reservation and ask you to leave. There will be no refund on unused time. All guests deserve a peaceful vacation..No barkers, or dogs over 20# can be accommodated on our property. There are 2 long term tenants on the property, all women, who have been living here since 2000 and 2007! Property is VERY safe, and we also have a full-time caretaker on property to help with any immediate needs :) 4 of our units now have AC in the bedrooms . This unit does not have AC. We personally have never used them. There is an extra fee for AC usage except during prime weeks..which are Christmas, New Years and Spring Break/Easter. Just ask, we can tell you. Electricity is a very expensive commodity on the island, so we try to conserve as much as possible. This unit also has LOWER THAN YOU MIGHT BE USED TO WATER PRESSURE in the shower, because it is a very unique shower inside a 300 year old brick chimney :) Also, if traveling during storm season.. be it summer hurricanes or winter snow, PLEASE purchase trip insurance!! We will rebook you for a later date in the future, but we do not refund for acts of God. Thank you!
