The lounge has a wood burning stove, solid oak flooring and a 50" Smart TV with wifi. There is a separate dining room with a solid oak floor and a modern kitchen and bathroom. The French doors from the lounge open on to the deck overlooking the private garden and beautiful countryside. There are several restaurants and pubs in Drymen including Scotland's oldest - the Clachan (1734) - Billy Connelly's old local!! The Loch is 2 minutes away and the view from Conic Hill was voted in the UK top ten in the Telegraph. Balmaha which is beside the Loch has a popular bar and restaurant, The Oak Tree Inn as well as a good coffee shop and ice cream parlour. There are a variety of outdoor activities including golfing with the championship course of Loch Lomond, as well as Buchanan Castle course and Strathendrick only a few minutes away. There's fishing, horse-riding, cycle paths, forest trails and tree top adventures. Loch Lomond is the largest loch in Britain by surface area and one of the best places to try watersport activities including jet skiing, wake boarding, paddle boarding, water skiing and kayaking. The Loch has a number of islands which can be explored thanks to dedicated cruises as well as the Loch Lomond Ferry Services, or you can hire a boat and explore yourself.
