This Old winery building complex, is restored to a luxury villa, consisting on 3 houses. It is located on the north-west side of Santorini, in Finikia village , at a walking distance from Oia. Each house has separate terraces over viewing the wine fields of Oia, offering an excellent view to the islands of the archipelago and the famous sunset of Oia. This property is quite famous, as it has been published in many architectural magazines and shown in documentaries for traditional style and life in Santorini. A private garden of 200 sq m , includes a mini swimming pool, a traditional dome oven and barbecue, offering sun protected private corners. Terraces overlooking the Aegean Sea towards the islands of Ios, Sikinos and Folegandros offer amazing view. In particular, the unparalleled sunset of Oia. The Wineryhouse and 2 guest houses: (all three domains), Sleeps 8 (max) 10 persons Winery House, where dreams live (The Main house) in the ground floor. This house is composed by two interconnected large cave rooms (canavas) of a total 160 sq.m, surface. Its halls were used for the wine production and for stocking the barrels. Both canavas enter from the courtyard where the main entrance to the house is. The big open space (of over 80 sq. m.) of the eastern canava includes, the living room with build benches, the dining room, the kitchen and an (open) cave bedroom with a double bed. The major bedroom is one entire hall (the western canava) of 70 sq.m. This includes the master bedroom with one build-in King Size bed, and above this, a wooden (open) loft with two single beds. Both rooms are decorated in high style. Sleeps 4 (max) 6 persons The House of the (singing) Birds is the guest house in the garden. Relaxing and romantic... It is an independent Studio of 30 sq. m. including bedroom with four poster bed, Bathroom, Kitchenette with separate entrance, and private terrace with ocean view. Entrance of this studio is from the main courtyard, sharing the same oriental garden with the wineryhouse. Ideal for 2 persons (one couple). The Sunny Winehouse, is the guest house on the terrace. Bright sun and endless blue... This 40 sq. m. studio consists of a large open space, bedroom-living room, with separate kitchenette and spacious bathroom. It is built on top of the “Winery house”, connected to the garden via steep stone stairs. Sunset studio has an independent entrance from the pedestrian road. The private terrace-balcony of 100 sq. m. offers an excellent place for relaxing, dinning, sunbathing… all with panoramic views over the Aegean Sea and the sunset of Oia. Ideal for 2 persons (one couple). The villa is situated in the "FINIKIA traditional settlement" which is a protected neighborhood of Oia. No cars are allowed inside Finikias narrow streets, and the village is peaceful and relaxing. Distance of the house from the bust station on the main road is 150 meters (walking), from the tavernas of Finikia 200 meters, and from the center of Oia 500-800 meters. Nearest sandy beach (Baxedes) is 1500 m downhill, therefore it is advised to go there by bus or rented vehicle. There is air conditioning in the two guest houses, not in the main house. Guest access Guests will have access to, swimming pool, garden, barbecue, wooden oven, all terraces. Other things to note •Welcome: In the house you have booked you will find a complementary welcome package for your first breakfast •Transport from your point of arrival: We can arrange with a local agent, (upon your request), to be picked up from the airport of harbor by a minivan or taxi. In this case you have to contact us, at least one day before your arrival, stating the place (airport or harbour) and time of your arrival in Santorini. You also have to provide us the flight number or name of ship. •The Way to the Villa: Before arrival to Finikia you have to call us for setting an appointment to pick you up from the main road, or the parking (in case of own transport) and escort you to the Winery Villa. In case you want to rent a car and drive yourselves, you have to drive direction Fira and then hit the road to Oia (11 Km from Fira). Just 1.5 Km before Oia you meet Finikia. No matters how you arrive we will come to pick you up from the main road. The house is 200 meters from there inside the village, where no vehicles are allowed. Bus station is 150 meters from the house to the main road •Information: Upon your check-in we will give you a tourist map of the island and information to help a pleasant holiday. •Bed sheets and towels are changed every fourth day. •Cleaning service provided every fourth day. •Wi Fi internet is free.
