Midcoast Maine Lakefront Retreat

Welcome to our family camp (Mainespeak for cottage) in Midcoast Maine. Although this lakefront camp has been in our family for over 50 years, we totally rebuilt it from the ground up in 2018. It is designed as a modern retreat in the woods, carefully planned with plenty of space for two families to enjoy the beauty of Midcoast Maine. From mid-June to mid -September, the rental period is one week from Saturday to Saturday. Shorter stays are possible at other times of the year. The space This is an architect designed and professionally decorated camp-full of windows and light to highlight the beauty of the wooded surroundings and Damariscotta Lake. There is plenty of room for everyone-two master bedrooms with attached baths, two bunk rooms, and a queen built in bed. The front room features a gorgeous vaulted pine ceiling, with eat-in kitchen and open dining space with built in surround benches. At camp, you can enjoy your morning coffee on the porch and listen to the loons just steps away on the lake. Fish off the dock, paddle the coves of the lake, hunt for clams at the shore, and roast marshmallows under the Maine stars. Explore the local harbors and lighthouses, sample a lobster roll off a nearby pier, rummage for treasures at quaint antique stores, and hike along the rugged Maine coast. Our camp is central to it all. Other things to note Guests will need to electronically sign a rental agreement before arrival.
